The bed was comfortable
The friendly greeting from the staff when I walked in,makes for a good first impression!!
Staff were very helpful.
Just to get away
Good shower, beds, wifi, staff politeness.
kettle not working... some building work noise.... restaurant had NO atmosphere. More milk needed in drinks tray.
Staff and food very good
Dirty floor in the swimming pool changing area. Room areas like sink and bath not very clean. Overall room and hotel in need of refurbishment perhaps paint not wallpaper in room would be easier to maintain
Bed very hard. Bed cover very heavy with nothing but a sheet underneath it. Blanket in cupboard but not very satisfactory.
It was a good weekend break. I was close to the city centre. We used public transport as we our bus passes.
24 hour bar
whats not to like?
Food was good Gym is basic but effective Pool was nice Good WIFI
Inital check in was like being read a script. Staff 'dissing' other staff loudly in restaurant - not overly professional but made up for by quality of meal
The kettle in the room was rusty inside I got that changed and the bes linen was stained. The room needed refurbishment
Location perfect.very easy for city. Staff very helpful. We have stayed beforeand will stay again.
Food excellent but the atmosphere in dining room could be improved.
A very enjoyable nights stay. a good room & breakfast.
leisure facilities were good and room service was fast.
The breakfast was awful
The facilities at the hotel have been improved since my last visit, in particular the gym. The pool facilities were excellent as was the comfort of the room meeting the needs of the visit
Spa makes excellent use of space available and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were all impressive.
Great spa facilities 24 hr bar Good location.
Radiator in room made loud bangs every few hours.
Great value for money
Breakfast was very good. A good selection of hot food, fresh fruit, bread and drinks. Nice hot powerful shower. If you are visiting Chichester this is an easy location to get to and from.
Squeaky floors. We have stayed here a few times due to convenient location, but always go for the first floor. If you're on the ground floor all you can here is footsteps and squeaking from above. The walls must also be relatively thin, due to being able to hear conversations in the adjoining rooms.
Bed was awesome.
The bath tub looked quite dirty.
Bed and black out curtains were great. Request for taxi booking had been actioned. Bath good size
Water pressure for shower was so low it was almost unusable. Wallpaper was peeling from wall Fitted counterpane on bed instead of duvet was uncomfortable. Little sound proofing from corridor Overall a tired decoration in room
The pool facility was good although it was a little off putting being constantly watched by the attendant. No towels available at the pool which was a first for me! Restaurant for evening meal was empty and had no atmosphere. Room needs some background music and something to soften harsh window frames. Receptionist was a little curt. We asked for extra towels which were delivered to our room but whoever did this left our door unlocked which could have been a disaster as we had carefully locked the room door. Breakfast was over cooked and hardly warm - and there were staff who appeared to have nothing to do. Small simple changes could make this hotel very good
Convenient to what we needed the stay for
Distance from the reception to our room
Front of house staff were great. Lovely friendly service.
Unfortunately our stay was the same night that the hotel was holding a large corporate Christmas party. The base of the disco made it impossible to sleep before 1:00 and then we had drunken guests running around hotel. The shower curtain had blood on it which wasn't pleasant. I was staying with my mum but we were put in a room with a double bed and what I consider a child's single bed which wasn't comfortable.
Good food. Was xmas do. Came out hot and tasty. Whole party of guests had a great night with disco etc. Clean hotel and room.
Beds so hard, barely slept. My opinion. Receptionist efficient not overly friendly welcome. Room lovely. Could've done with some wall lights over beds rather than relying solely on spotlights.
