close to main road and could be a bit noisy breakfast good but expensive restaurant meals expensive so we ate out

The fact I was not told there would be noisy building works going on the whole time or that a letter left in my room telling me that I could not have my curtains open until after 6 in the evening as my windows were being painted the way I was woken up by the cleaner knocking on my door at 8 in the morning and two more times by the cleaners before 10.00 when my checkout time was 12.00 there was 2 small milks meaning there was only the possibility of 1 drink throughout my stay the noise was ridiculous I had no sleep whatsoever definitely the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

I stayed at this hotel in 2007 and it was awful. However, the new owners have done a wonderful refurbishment and the hotel and its rooms are very much improved. The location is very good as it is only a few minutes walk to Ealing Common tube station and a 10/15 minute walk to Ealing Broadway/High Street.

Currently there is a major continuing renovation going on at the hotel, with accompanying noise during the day. It is stated by the hotel owners that this should finish by the end of June.

great difficulty getting sense out of TV in room. An equivalent hotel on Continent would offer easy access to 30 stations. Coffee maker, how to effectively put in coffee tubs a mystery. Alarm clock-setting it another mystery.. Could not manage to switch off noisy air conditioning system.

the exterior was deceiving...inside was smart, modern and very comfortable. Very good value for money and the option of breakfast in bed was great although a little expensive!

Nice mix of price, quality and place. Selected this hotel cause wanted better rooms quality compared to same price hotels in center.

A bit far away from center (35-40 minutes as a minimum). Hotel has a reconstruction now, so it's noisy from 9 A.M. (drills,workers outside etc) to evening. But surely it'll be a great place when it is finished. Basically, breakfast is expensive (15 pounds). You can have a breakfast in many near bars or restaurants for just 6-8 pounds.

the hotel is just undergoing a rebranding to Doubletree hilton and is very nice. Staff very attentive, breakfast buffet style was very good. Room had been refurbished and was very comfortable, new coffee machine and kettle with various teas and coffees available. Fridge available with water.

Lack of staff on reception. Staff answering phone when deling with you. Booked morning alarm call for all four days of my stay & did not receive one. Ordered taxi from hotel & he dropped me off at the wrong place.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The station was only a short walk from the Hotel, easy access into London city.

Thought the price of the food served in the Hotel was over-priced. Paid a ridiculous amount for a BLT (that did not taste too good). There was noise but in fairness they are renovating the Hotel, so that's to be expected.

Desappointed because the breakfast was not included in the price and they pretended to solve the problem by offering an overpriced breakfast.

Friendly staff on reception and in restaurant. Very modern, clean rooms. Room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good.

No instructions on how to control the heat in the room. Bit too warm to sleep comfortably.

Hotel was refurbished at the time of our stay. This is not necessary negative as renovations have to happen! Breakfast is too expensive considering the "quality". Nearby coffee shops have better/fresh quality. Bar should offer some nuts etc with drinks

this hotel is in a quiet location near to earling common tube a grest base to get in and out of london for sight seeing at an affordable price. would recommed this hotel to others.
