The heating rail was on continually in the bathroom and could not be turned off the room was therefore very warm and we had to sleep with the windows open which then gave us the problem of heavy traffic noises all night from a very busy main road

The hotel charged an additional 120.00 pounds for 2 phone calls to Canada. This is absolutely ridiculous. For this reason we would never stay there again. They claim it is the phone service provider who charges these crazy rates, but the bottom line is that they contract the phone service and should make their foreign visitors aware upon arrival. Calls cost more than the room did!!!

We arrived in from our flight at 7.30 am and were not facilitated with a room until 2pm!

The bar area and location are the best points

The hotel is fine but on the first day for some reason our towels were merley re hung on the bars and not actually changed, also the rooms are a bit tight.

One of the front desk staffers was incredibly "officious" but apart from that it was a good experience

We enjoyed the facitlity, but one night there was broken pipe in another building that ran water all night so not much sleep that night. Then when I received my final bill I was billed 35 pounds twice for making two phone calls. The Manager explained that the costs were from the telephone company. I was using my calling card so it should have only been a connection charge.

Cont. After much discussion she took the charges off. I thought over 70 pounds for connecting two phone calls using my phone card was way out of line. I think there must of been a billing mistake.

Being brought up for the fireworks to the hotel roof and the miraculous sight to the castle mountain

As a single traveller I was seated at the waiters runway next to the kitchen were it was noisy and busy. Table was not decorated the same way as the other tables
