Convenient location to Edinburgh city centre, with regular public bus service available 200 yards from hotel. Additionally, inclusive breakfast and competitive pricing, which also includes free parking suited us best for recent trip. Happy to recommend to other friends and family.

Good price, good facilities, safe parking and nice location. Buses travel into Edinburgh every five minutes and only a short walk to bus stop. So glad I chose to stay a short distance outside the calamity of Edinburgh transport! Would stay again.

Comfortable room, breakfast good, plenty of choice Walls too thin, could hear neighbours in next room talking, could also hear guests outside in the middle of the night who were smoking at the main entrance, also no decaf tea available, will bring own supply next time

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The food was very nice, generous helpings and good value. Lounge and bar areas very comfortable. We would certainly use the hotel again. Sound proofing between rooms could be better. There was a lot of noise from other guests and the plumbing, but this was not a big problem.

Very warm welcome and very helpful staff. Extremely clean and well designed rooms. I will definitely stay here again. I would have liked to have opened the bedroom window As it had just been painted and was quite stuffy in there.

The location and the fact that you could park your car, also we ate evening meal and it was delicious. Rooms could do with a little updating, especially within the bathroom area, couldnt turn off shower once on and had a problem with all of the lights blowing within the room, staff were very quick to react though and sorted out the issues for us.

The conference room facilities were excellent. The food was lovely and well presented. Good value for money. The Bar prices were higher than I expect for the standard presented.

It is near the main bus route into the city center, and quite. The breakfast selection was basic. Limited choice of foods on a self service basis. No breakfast menue's were avaliable and very limited food choice. Minimum staff on duty. Room clening was below standard. Used cups were not cleaned or replaced in the morning . Dust on the furniture was visable. No grab rail on wall above bath which is essentail when showering

Great hotel and location. Only 2.5 miles from city centre. Easy and cheap bus service from the next road into city. 5 mins walk from Murrayfield. We had a lovely suite with a four poster bed. Breakfast was very good. We also had no problem parking over a 3 day stay which other guests have complained about. Use of internet in reception for free. I would highly recommend this hotel for a city break.

The hotel was very nice and cosy with a fire by the bar and main enterance. The windows needed insulating, when the wind picked up it came right through them. The decor was very dated in places also and there was no gym facility.

The prices of room are reasonably lower. It's a convenient location if you travel by car. Nice and quite location. The bathroom shower tap was faulty upon our arrival at night. We informed the staff but they did not get it repaired the following day. The staff was not responsible enough to update us regarding this issue.
