Overlooking the River Clyde, this Jurys Inn is in the center of the city, next to Glasgow Central Station.
Score from 1540 reviews Very good
This 4-star hotel is in central Glasgow, half a mile from Glasgow Central Train Station. It has large rooms, a sauna, steam room and indoor swimming pool with spa pool.
Score from 1240 reviews Very good
Re-opened in September 2010 after a £20-million renovation, this hotel is located at Glasgow Central Station, within Glasgow’s shopping district.
Score from 1685 reviews Very good
The hotel is getting very tired .. It's over priced for what you actually get .. The staff were unfriendly and were unwilling to be slightly flexible - they are just lucky where they are located .
Breakfast included in the price. Great location
location. I chose this hotel on its position as I had several events in the area
£80 a night without breakfast was a bit steep for a single person in a very basic hotel.
Past its sell by date
Good location and staff were very helpful, reception area clean and presentable.
Corridors leading to room were shabby and room was very small with thin walls so you could hear the music from the Corinthian club next door and other occupants getting up to adult bedroom activities.
Loved the location between Argyll St & George Sq, so close for shopping, eating out & train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and well appointed. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
Only minor things. Room was quite tight to get round the bottom of the bed & gap under the door meant there was quite a bit of noise from the corridor. Lounge bar a wee bit bland and unappealing.
Location & staff
1-The welcoming, friendly, helpful staff, 2-The comfy bed & cleanliness of the room, 3-The city centre location, 4-Ability to park car in secure car park, 5-The buffet breakfast,
1-The room temperature was a little hot from checkin to departure even for the end of November. The hotel could save on heating bills by turning this down a few degrees!
Staff were efficient and friendly. The location is excellent for Merchant city & City centre.
The amount of noise from the pub next door kept us awake until the early hours, as our room was at the front of the hotel. However, when we checked out, the Duty Manager was very sympathetic and gave us a discount on our room rate, which made it better value for money. We would return but I would ask for a room at the back of the hotel next time.
Location. Fairly quiet. Suited our needs.
Rather tatty paintwork in room. Fire alarm. Rooms keys didn,t work properly.
Fantastic Location, Friendly Staff, tasty and wide variety breakfast
Small Room, WIFI was terrible, noisy but I comes with the great location. (Ask for a quiet room)
Location Bed comfort
Fire alarm (False Alarm) 2.45AM Stuck in lift going down for breakfast Snow machine in the evening made outside tiles very slippy
Location was good.
Very warm in a very small twin room and noisy as window was left open for air. Breakfast was in bar and a little busy and uncomfortable.
Hotel very central Staff friendly and helpful Meals good
Bed uncomfortable Room to hot even without heating on. Shower needed upgrading Quite noisy room
one very nice member of staff called Jennifer who went out of her way to help us
not easiest of places to get to when driving and alternative parking available but not explained fully at book in. Room was adequate but felt very claustrophobic. Other guests very noisy and inconsiderate. Whose idea was it not take cash after 10.30 p.m., this was not ideal. Will not repeat stay at this hotel and unfortunately will not be recommending it to others.
You could not pay cash at the bar after 10.30 at night You either had to pay by card or put it onto your ro
Good location with several good restaurants close by
Bedroom was rather small. Interior oh hotel could be refurbished as rather tired
Close to Queen Street Station, Central Station and subway, handy for shopping centres, Merchant City and Barrowland. Plenty of good restaurants and pubs nearby.
Room too small and cramped, no drawer space
Very central, staff very friendly, no problem with an early check in with an option to leave our bags until room was ready and explore the city. Highly recommended and great value for money. Hotel was booked out for euro 2016 and hotel could not of been more welcoming as Ireland fans.
The hotel is in a great central location for shops and restaurants. We were revisiting friends who got married at the hotel last year, we found staff friendly and breakfast was good..
Only downside was our twin room was very noisy from the nightclub next door..It did keep us awake the first night! I complained and we were given earplugs for the second night which helped..windows need replacing they are tired this would improve the problem dramatically!
The location is exellent
The Car park! I would question the definition of car park in this instance. In comparison to other hotels that we have used in Glasgow city centre I am afraid cleanliness fell well below par.
we upgraded to a premier room as suggested by your promotional e mail..there were movies available..no complimentary newspaper etc..the list is endless
Small stuffy rooms.Could hear the banging of the lifts. Hotel contacting you few days before offering an upgrade for a fee.
Stayed for two nights as was getting married at Montrose registry office so very handy for this and all restaurants and bars too.
Wee bit noisy late on Friday night due to nightclub next door but nothing to unpleasant
