Everything was fantastic food lovely staff were polite and helpful room beautiful
Nothing will stay again
Parking was close by; receptionist was very friendly and helpful; room was comfortable and had good seating area; restaurant offered a good selection of meals; gym, pool, sauna and steam room were convenient; on-site beauty treatments; nice bar area; hair dryer and iron in room
I couldn't get any treatments because they were fully booked - it would be good to be offered treatments when booking; pool area was a little run down and just needed some modernising
The afternoon tea was good value for money you got a lot for your money So was the dinner in the evening.
That you were charged for the robe hire and it wasn't a return deposit especially for a spa day. Had to wait on ariival for over 10 mins to be served as there was only one person on reception.
Staff were very helpful
On arriving we were put in a basement room with a pram and 2 young children, we were also told that we couldn't have blankets or pillows for my daughters cot due to there regulations, so good job I brought my own. The staff were very helpful and moved us rooms which were on a higher level but were still down a set of stairs which we had to carry the pram up to the reception and the hotels facilities. I feel that the hotel could do with an update specially for the price that we were charged, there was no fridge in the hotel room to store my daughters milk, I was offered an ice bucket to store the milk in but this wouldn't keep milk fresh, therefore I had to purchase new milk each day. I know we won't be staying at this hotel again as for the price the facilities and accessibility wasn't very good I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody disabled or anybody with a young family with children
Not much .
Being kept awake with loud music from a party in the Hotel with no prior warning . Low hot water pressure - ages to fill bath , food not good for the price . Room decor dark and depressing , graffiti on bedroom wall -room- 230 . Very smart bar with robed barefoot , bare legged clients from the Spa sitting and wandering through when Hotel Guests eating snack lunch .
The size of the room adequate.
Room was cold when you first enter. This soon warmed up once you know where the controls are
Large room Gym facilities Food
The staff were excellent nothing was too much bother.
The car park was not lit sufficiently and there was no sign showing how to get into the hotel drive to drop off bags.
Excellent staff and good food. Comfortable bed.
Bathroom not very clean, was dusty and heating went off early. Pool area shabby and pool partitioned off for swimming lessons.
comfy beds quality finish clean bathroom
weak shower location a bit far out from town however taxi was quick and only £10
The bathroom was really dirty with hairs and spots. Towels where old and greyish. The bedcover was old fashin sheet with old woolblanket on top. Cold room. Glasses at dinner was covered in butter. Not a comfertable stay. Def not a 4 star hotel, it might have been, but everything was kindof worn down.
Booked single room; was a single bed
Good Location Good Staff Good Food
poor non existent WIFI Poor bed
Good leisure club facilities
On check in we were met by a very rude young receptionist who barely made eye contact and her greeting to us was 'surname please' She failed to explain that she was checking my card for funds. A receipt had been printed and I thought that this meant payment was taken. On check out when asked to settle the bill I was confused and I complained that nothing was explained to me at check in. My complaint was not passed on to the manager so I called and wrote a formal complaint, which is currently being dealt with. NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM A FOUR STAR HOTEL!!!!;
Big comfy bed good food Spacious Clean
Car park a bit cramped & setting a bit spoiled by development next door
Food was first lasss
Near to the M5 so it was good as an overnight stopover when we were doing some visits in the area. The restaurant and food were excellent. The swimming pool is a decent size, and with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room it helped us to relax at the end of a busy day.
New housing is being put up adjacent to the hotel. It didn't really bother us except the road was a bit of a mess. Otherwise, I can't really think of anything I didn't like.
Ideal location great spa breakfast was good
Our first room was dirty moved to a clean room. The heating did not work it was freezing. The manager gave us an electric heater it must have been 20 years old legs hanging of very dirty. The themostate control was missing so did not cut off automatically so spent all night plugging and unplugging the heater so no sleep for me
no staf at reception late in the evening when trying to check in.
Nice modern look
Staff were rude to my fiancé Staff didn't answer the phone when we rang to reception to ask for something The room was very over priced for what it was There are no duvets on the beds just a few rug like blankets and a sheet it was not comfortable at all
The coffee, lack of draft ales, no outdoor jogging circuit from the front door, no charging point for electric cars
The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food was really lovely.
The pool area was nice but could do with updating
hotel, comfort, food, service
The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful
Facilities such as the pool were tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up. Carpet could do with replacing in the communal areas. Just very tired looking :( For a four star hotel, expected a bit more
Building work woke us up early with drilling wasn't told about this when booked hotel with booking.com
