After a very long day that started at 3am and involved various meetings between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gloucester, it was great to end my day in this hotel. I heavily rely and WiFi and the connection was reliable, the room was comfortable and welcoming and the staff excellent.

swimming pool could do with a little bit of updating but still a nice place for a relaxing swim

Staff were very friendly, room were comfortable, modern looking hotel inside

Location-drove threw not so nice looking council estate to get to hotel, hotel at entrance looks worn and dated (however better once inside), building a housing estate right next door so lots of building work noise in the morning and threw out the day. Room key constantly stopped work so always had to go to reception to have the key reactivated. Couldn't use the spa as there was no availability all weekend.

    the rooms were lovely

the fact the leisure facilities were open to the general public, therefore it was always busy, did'nt use them because it was so busy also its in the middleof a housing estate and not in a peacefull location

Location, wildlife, ease of access to Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounds

Night porter can be a bit aggresive in his mannerisms.

Location - out of town, plenty of parking, easy to find. Staff - very helpful, courteous and efficient Rooms - reasonably comfortable, with good facilities. Pool - lovely to have a dip in before breakfast.

Pricing - not priced competitively for a hotel of this price-range - a disparity between the QUALITY of facilities offered and the price. Breakfast - dreadful, cheap and more like something that belongs in an IKEA restaurant, rather than a hotel with a £130-a-night price-tag Maintenance - floor in my room had a hole (floor-boards lifting, and a very obvious dip) ...neatly covered up with carpeting ... General upkeep needs a little more attention. Pool needs a good spring-clean and a freshening up) Family room - "guests bed" mattresses very uncomfortable!

The room was nice with a King size bed. The Health Club was worth it. The pool, hot tub, Sauna, Steam, Squash courts and more - ROCK.

    No AC or window screens.

    Staff were polite.

Family rooms poorly situated near the function room. Had a 4 year old trying to sleep with the muffled boom boom of music echoing throughout from a wedding reception. Also parking was a nightmare & the hotel situated on a housing building site looked very poor. Food was awful for a 4* facility. Very disappointed.

    Staff we're excellent

The fact that you could hear through the walls & through doors. And the fact that when there was a wedding on those nights were like sleeping above a nightclub at closing time!!

Clean Staff where friendly Bathroom very nice Pool and Jacuzzi where enjoyable Gym with most things you need for a decent workout Good location for visiting the Cotswolds

Hotel was dated in general. Breakfast was greasy and very limited. Not very healthy. No remote control (had to ask twice as request for a replacement wasn't past on) Noisey parties outside both nights (but did stop at 12pm) Bed rock hard (could do with a mattress topper) At breakfast on the second morning the air con was freezing. Was like being in a fridge.

    Swimming pool & comfortable bed

This is our 2nd visit the first time last November the room was hot then but this time at the end of July it was 27degrees!.. The window only opens an inch but staff did bring a small fan down which unfortunately didn't make any difference

On the whole the hotel staff were polite and the rooms were a reasonable standard of cleanliness. Swimming pool & gym facilities.

No air conditioning in rooms, breakfasts poor quality for the price. Cleanliness of the pool not great.

The staff were very helpful, the gym and pool were pretty good and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was very hot, there was no air conditioning but the windows only opened a crack. However, they did eventually move us down to a room on the ground floor which was much cooler. The hotel is right next to a building site so all the windows are filthy which doesn't help the appearance. However, there isn't a great choice in Gloucester and this isn't a bad option.
