“It is an excellent hotel and the staff were superb. The young girl on reception went out of her way to accomodate us. Breakfast was excellent and the whole atmosphere of the place was great. Excellent location, accesible but out in the country.”

We had a cheap deal which was good value and the staff were very friendly. The bed was uncomfortable and the room wasn’t anything special. The view from the balcony was spoiled by cigarette butts all over. The tv didn’t have enough channels and the menus were extremely slow.

Our stay was comfortable. I left my phone charer behind and am very impressed that hotel staff were so helpful and are posing it out to me. Mixed decor, some parts of the hotel looked old and some new

The staff were very niceand the hotel was beautiful. The room was comfortable with a nice view and the meal was very enjoyable. One of the best things about the hotel is it's proximity to Gold Acre park. We had a lovelty walk there on Staurday morning.

Very close to Leeds Bradford Airport. Quiet rooms. Nice staff, though a bit slow at times. Wines were decent and reasonably priced for a hotel. Rooms were average. Some bits missing off of taps in bathroom and had to hunt for a second set of towels. Food was only OK.

Nice venue near Golden Acre park When we arrived after a 5 hour journey the man on reception did not raise his eyes from the computor or acknowledge us for several minutes. Having lived in Yorkshire before I was hoping for a warm Yorkshire welcome! I think there are some staff training issues about eye contact/a smile etc etc Also reception looked messy. No fresh flowers

The welcome from the lady on reception was lovely. Due to a wedding party arriving there was a little wait but this was no issue. On arrival at the desk both my partner and I were made to feel very welcome and looked after to a high standard. The decor slightly dated but in keeping with the age of the building

A Breaqkfast inluded would have been nice. A Buffet like American Hotels would have been really nice instaed of going off into the Day without a Breakfast. £13.95 is far too much per person. If booked online £10.00 I had completed my booking before that was made obvious, and £10.00 still too dear. Went down the Road to the Adel Deli Full English for £4.95 and large Pot of Tea. Also why do you have to have a Premium Rate Telephone numbers to make enquiries - who cops that money, also why do we have to go through Booking.Com surely that costs you money and in turn the Guest money. Windows should be able to open wider especially the top ones the room became very stuffy. I felt Claustrophobic. The room also was noisy most of the night as near to the busy Road. Still over all very enjoyable. The Location is Superb its my Childhood Home, the Hotel nestles in the Countryside and near to the Dales. Good access for most of Yorkshire.

It was excellent value for money. Staff extremely pleasant. The girl on reception was excellent 10 out of 10 and breakfast was plentiful and a reasonable quality as long as you prepay on arrival at £10 otherwise it's £13 my only criticism was the bed was a bit soft but was told by reception they did have planks of wood to stiffen the beds up if needed . The Bar does not take cash later in the evening so if you have opted for a no charge to the room policy you must have a's debt card to pay for anything you require at the bar where you need to go to reception to pay. The swimming pool and leisure facilities are excellent.

Although as busy as the last time we stayed the service at breakfast, particularly on Sunday, was much better than last time. The hot breakfast is delicious and it was great to be able to enjoy this on both the mornings of our stay! Nothing this time - it was all lovely!

Friendly, helpful staff especially reception. The bed! We expected the quintessential large bed that one gets at the various 'lodge' type establishments but it was just about a king size and not very comfortable either. Had we known we would have booked a twin room. We certainly will in futre stays

It was smart and clean; the room was nicely appointed. The public areas seemed attractive, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast at £13.95 (or even £10 as offered online) seemed outrageously expensive, so we didn't have it. We have never skipped breakfast in a hotel before. The first night we were there it was very windy and the secondary glazing, such as it was, was so inadequate that the toilet paper was blowing in the draft, and the rather large en suite was very chilly. It is a lot further out of Leeds than where we usually stay.
