Place Personnel is not competent. They charged 2 times money from my card!!! First time at check in - 29.09.2011, and than today (6 october) but I've already chek out 03 october. This is unbelivable, I pay two times 562 pounds......!!!!!!! I call them to solve this problem and cant speak with anyone.....on monday I'm going to the bring the case before the court because it's a real fraud!!!!! Advise not to stay here. Alexandr Shabaldin (stay from 29 sep till 3 oct).

Location near the Hyde Park and just a 3 min walk to the tube... Rooms are quite small, and walls are very thin..... I guess you can figure out what I mean by that.

Great location very near to Queensway Tube Station which is on the Central Line. Staff very friendly and helpful, for a big hotel it provided a warm and comfortable base. The picture of the exterior of the hotel was a little misleading, walked past it initially as didn't recognize it from the photo and nowhere does it mention Ramada on, in or around the hotel.

Great location. Lots of potential, but needs an upgrade which I understand is planned. Wishing you the best. Some facilities such as the lift were unreliable. The carpet needs to be replaced.

It is within walkin distance from three tube stations and the hyde park, Kensigton Palace, etc. My room had a weird smell, which the cleaning lady tried to remove, without success.

Location I had booked on a no return policy. This was okay as I was sure I would go. However, it meant I could not add drinks on to my room, which was not major but annoying to have to use a debit card/cash for each round of drinks.

The room was spacious clean and relatively modern. We found the staff quite rude, this I guess was down to the amount of people staying at the hotel and they were busy but my wife and I did not expect this. The restaurant was ran at best like organised chaos. When we were eventually seated for breakfast the table was filthy and it took several minutes for anyone to come along and clean it. Then due to the seating plan we were constantly bumped and knocked throughout our breakfast by other guests as they made their way to their seats. On the second morning, we had to leave early. It was a bank holiday so we consulted the Hotel information booklet to check the timings. It had nothing regarding Bank Holidays so we assumed that the normal hours would apply. On arrival we were rudely told that bank holidays timing were active and that we had to wait ten minutes to be seated, even though a group party were already eating? We were then rudely shown to our table. Very disappointing overall.

Easy access to central london, good size rooms. Pleasant enough but certainly not my idea of 4* Reception staff really friendly and helpful Decorating or some kind of work going on gave it a rather shabby feel. Don't bother paying for breakfast - pricey and not great, plenty of cafe's nearby

The hotel has a very good location, in the corner of Hyde Park and very near to the Queensway tube station. The hotel is dirty and old and lacks proper maintenance. The rooms are old-fashioned and not well kept. The window in my room has a single glazing and did not close properly. Thus, at night the room was very cold. Although the hotel charges a lot of money for the wifi connection, it does not work. The staff are unfriendly and unwilling to help.

Very convenient for shopping, sightseeing and eating out. Had choice of tube stations which made getting around even easier. Very dated looking, corridors could do with an upgrade, also one of the lifts kept breaking down - didnt instill confidence.

On arriving the reception staff are very professional and eager to please We have been staying at the Ramada Hyde park for a number of years and it suits us perfectly. It is possibly getting ready for a refurbish now but nevertheless value for money I doubt it can be beaten. The breakfasts have improved tremendously over the years and the dining room staff are excellent, altogether we are very satisfied. I understand why hotels have to have fixed head showers bearing in mind the heavy handedness of some people but, do they have to be placed so high At home we always have our at shoulder height which is far better perhaps it could be given some thought may be a compromise midway between the ceiling and shoulder height.?

“Huge, huge size rooms, really didn't expect at all, normally rooms small even in much expensive hotels. Also very private and relaxing hotel, next to the park and tub. Defenetly will back next time I'm in London.” Yulia, London |
