Needed a hotel that was central with car parking facilities. Booked three rooms of which one was superb but others looked a little tired. Not particularly good value even for London. Parking at £25 might be good value for a day in London but not short stay. Staff were helpful. Arrived late and was disappointed having to pay £25 for parking only overnight. |

very nice central location with easy access to the tube. breakfast is as extensive as it gets. walls are very thin so you can hear doors closing and people talking and walking outside in the middle of the night |

The breakfast staff was ok. But I was shocked that how a famous hotel chain could be so dirty dusty and old. The beds were old and uncomfortable the bathroom was dirty the room was dusty. They charge everything and give no service. The front office manager was very rude and unfriendly. cleaner, friendly satff. |

The breakfast was ok Only one draw for storage. No mirror by the dressing table. Room very small. We sat up in bed and it moved away from the wall. The dressing table top was in a poor condition. Had to climb across chair to get into bed because the room was so small. I have stayed in far better 4 star hotels in London (Russell) and stayed in better 3 star hotels in other major cities. |

Good location, helpful staff, good breakfast. Tea and coffee and bottled water in room. Quite a fair rate, but not overly luxurious. Adequate room but not very big. But served its purpose. |

Location very convenient for most purposes. Close to park, shopping, restaurants and public transport. Friendly and efficient staff. My room was clean and quiet. For a 4 star hotel I missed minibar and safe in my room. For London it is good value for the money. |

I did not like anything:-( totally overprized!! But if Y travel home from heathrow You can Use the hotels travel arrangment that will be cheapest. Or You will have to use a long time on public transport to save money. More quiet rooms, better service. And its not a few minutes from Paddington its 25 mins or a taxi to £7-£8. And that the webpages give You info about the hotels airportservice that is reasonable. The hotel feels like its totally in the outbacks when it comes to transport, its not correct but it feels that way. |

location is good, many bus stops nearby and hyde park just across the street, ideal for a morning walk. The terrace of the hotel restaurant, ideal for smokers and the pleasant bartender who didn't mind serving us outside in spite of the cold. it doesn't deserve its 4 stars qualification, no safety deposit box in the rooms, the bedsheets had stains. The bathrooms need renovating: the sink would fill up with water after 20 sec because of some draining problem, the bathtub elements were rusty and u have to stand under the shower because it has no manual system, only one shower gel and one shampoo for 2 persons! |

The reception staff where very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable and cleaned well daily. Lovely big soft towels and very accomadating when we requested extra pillows. Breakfast was very disorganised. Tables not layed properly, staff slow in serving tea or coffee. Our room was also on the side of the service road and we were regularyl woken at 7am or earlier by noise from staff or delivery - when complained at reception was told this should not happen until after 8am and it would be looked into. |

it's not the most fancy Hotel but comfortable and a good price for what you get - I would recommend it if you want a nice, clean Hotel and not pay crazy prices... |

We enjoyed the local pubs and shopping in the neighborhoods. Close to Kennsington Palace. Bar service was terrible. We were completely ignored every time we entered it. Fortunately, this gave cause to explore the local neighborhoods to find pubs. |

Comfy bed. Fair room. Very clean. Hotel is in good location for sightseeing/shopping/tube stations and pleasant being opposite the park. Good buffet breakfast available until 10am. We either had the same room with the cracked bathroom sink as other reviewers or they have several cracked sinks which isn't exactly 4 star. Could open the room window only very little for air but had to have it closed at night as the Bayswater Road is very noisy with traffic. Hotel good for short stays and for the discounted rate we paid but definitely not worth the rate shown in reception which was over £200! |

It was convenient for Hyde Park. Even through our room overlooked the side road - it was very noisy, we were woken up at 6am on a Saturday with nagning lorries outside unloading for some time. Then some form of building/maintenance in continued and kept us awake. Considering it was a 4star - we thought it was over-rated and overpriced for the facilities. Breakfast was like a canteen, overcrowded with no style. The decor in the public areas look tired and worn. The rooms were not 4 star standard in our view. The bath was grubby looking and some fixtures broken. Ask to stay at the back of the hoel to avoid the road noise maybe? |

Location and convenience for Paddington Station, underground lines, bus routes and London Siteseeing bus tours and quite an active local centre in Queesway with restaurants & cafes. The extortionate bar prices and only serving double measures in late evening! |
