Mercure Perth Hotel    

Great location and helpful staff

We were all in rooms on the first floor and they were very hot!!!

Lovely room, it was a junior suite Breakfast was very good

Loud band kept us awake.

The friendly staff.

The constant noise during the night. Maybe the AC or internal plumbing system from other rooms. The beds in the room were poor. The noise coming from the shower when in use.

Unusual location as in an old mill staff friendly

Room was small for a double and strong damp smell

Room was clean and nice. service from staff was excellent, top notch. Breakfasts were excellent. Mill wheel and water in reception, we thought was quirky and kept an original mill feature.

Dinner meals were pricey for portion sizes.

Thought breakfast was very pricey. Didn't book this due to my husband fishing and not sure when first service was. As it happened we did have it but got shock when we found out the cost. it spoiled our stay.

Eating in hotel expensive and overated could walk five minutes away and get lovely meal at half price and good servive

The bed was really nice and it was a nice cosy clean room.

The fire alarm went off in the morning and when we got back to the room we discovered the shower was not working, we were already delayed with our plans for the day by the evacuation that couldn't be helped but eventually after two people checked out the shower we were told we would be moved. After waiting some time I went to reception to make them aware that we had somewhere to be - eventually we were moved to another room to shower and when we were moved the hair dryer in the new room didn't work - we then waited for a replacement. I was only offered an apology when the receptionist saw how annoyed I was.

Location, shopping, scenery - the bar with the Grouse wallpaper is a nice touch.

Food was ok - expected more subtlely and taste. Rooms, lounge, need upgrade on decor and bathrooms. We stayed in a Superior Double Room or Executive Room but it did not meet my expectations. The hotel has a special locations around the watermill but doesn't make the most of it.

Liked mostly everything had a lovely stay staff were very pleasant especially on the reception desk the wee girl with the dark hair especially was nice and helpful and polite think she should get a pay rise and a gold star

The breakfast was cold one morning and the meal I had later was not very good have eaten in other hotel near by and enjoyed there food more

Loved the converted mill building and seeing the water run under your table in the bar was a weird, but nice, touch. Something a wee bit different! Staff were helpful and polite. Room big enough and comfortable.

Nothing to note, all good!

Great location, very helpfull staff, if we return to Perth, we will stay in the Mercure again.
