Nothing exceptional Occupied room 15. Occupants above had a noisy night. Male shouted and swore. Did not actually come to an assault on the female but was close. Sound proofing was very poor. Obviously not concrete floors as floorboards squeaked when male moved |

nice cosy atmosphere in bar with unusual water feature, excellent breakfast with very helpful waiting staff and excellent location for shops during day and pubs/restaurants in evening. good private parking facility service at reception was very slow and drinks/snacks at bar very expensive, areas of hotel in need of refurbishment |

The room above us had terrible squeaking floorboards. The two people in the room moving around from 8 am and we could not sleep. We did mention it at reception when we checked out but I doubt they will do anything about it. |

1.The friendliness of staff. 2.Location 1.Lounge bar was chilly as the main entrance doors opened directly into this area. 2.Early morning laundry delivery when cages were dragged over cobbled ground below guest rooms. 3.Food sent to rooms (room service) before serving guests in grill room...so, we waited 50 minutes for our evening meal and as we were meeting friends afterwards, we had no time for dessert or coffee. |

Staff excellent - close to town centre - breakfasts excellent - relaxed and easy going atmosphere - popular with mature clients who want isolation and/or companions Wedding party noisy after 01.00 am - despite heating turned off and window opened all the time of stay it was very warm (mid October!) possibility of fans ? - car parking disorganised |

Room clean breakfast ok Dinner at night was terrible, dinning room cold,food cold,service terrible meal a bad experience. Room ok but not value for money I stay in Perth once a week and I will not be using the hotel again. |

Nice older style hotel with theme of an old mill, quiet location within easy walk of town centre Bed was a bit hard and squeaky floorboards were hard to avoid but no doubt a feature of a character building. Printed room guide had not been customised for this hotel, so restaurant hours read as [insert time] etc !! |

Clean helpful staff, pleasant room,good breakfasts. Room was very warm and pipes from heating system were noisy.There was no way to turn the heating down a the radiator was off and it was the feeder pipes which generated the heat. |

Cheap enough and with all that a stag party requires...beds and a decent bar. Good breakfasts were a bonus. Handy for the centre of Perth and very helpful staff. To get the really cheap rates we had to pay up front a month in advance. One of our party had to miss the trip and therefore we had to cover the price of his two night stay. |
