Slightly scruffy, slightly faded hotel in need of refurbishment. It was like going back to the 80s. For over £200 a night there are some much more stylish hotels around.

A good comfortable hotel that was well situated for what was for us a first visit to Lords Cricket Ground. When we arrived our booking through Booking.com was not registered on their system so we had to hang around while the issue was resolved. We know that London hotels are expensive but we did not consider this to be good value for money, particularly as breakfast was not included in the price.

Proximity to Lord's cricket ground. Good bar food options enabling a good, economic dinner to be enjoyed rather than sitting in the restaurant on one's own

The reason for our stay at your hotel was for our 25th wedding anniversary. We required something a little bit more expensive than we usually have and loved the size of the bed, bathroom and the view from the window of Lords and the beautiful Regent Park. Found it really easy to travel around and visit the attractions of the city from the hotel as there was a bus stop right outside. We recommend the walk alongside the canal to Camden market and the zoo. Also the park was beautiful and well maintained. Found the area around the windows draughty and noisy from the traffic even though we were 4 floors up!

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Even the hotel is close to two street it's so quit. The room was comfort and clean. Good link to public transport. Regent park is just few minutes walk from the hotel. (For Muslims: there is a huge masjed near the hotel). Room service wasn't that special. Internet price is little bit high (you can get 15 minutes free everyday).

I loved the room price of the hotel that for a 4* hotel in Central London was outstanding - the keenness of staff to help make the stay enjoyable was also impressive There were a few negatives to the stay: a) on booking in Reception staff said that you could not use a debit card for pre-authorisation for room service etc which seemed odd when you could pay for the hotel room with that card and it meant having to pay for things on cash; b) the cost of drinks in the hotel bar were frankly outrageous - £20 for two vodka and cokes and a glass of wine

The hotel was clean staff were very helpful. For us the location was great. The room door kept jamming and was difficult to shut , which for an outside door to room was essential. Also one of the plug sockets didn't work. The breakfast which was brought to the room was squeezed onto a small tray which meant it was difficult to use and it looked all packed on top of each other and the toast was cold.

Very old fashioned and needs renovating..2 Fridges in the room - Both were dirty and old but had nothing in them... Room was large (Plaza room) but lacked modern amenities.... It even had a Corbey trouser press... I haven't seen one of those for years!! The bathroom was huge but again, very dated - Would probably have been a very nice bathroom 30 years ago..Location isnt that great either. 20 minute walk from baker St or 15 mins to St Johns Wood (Jubille line). I would rate this hotel as a 3 star at best and won't be staying again..

The friendliness of the staff was excellent. The service was as expected from a 4* hotel and the food was very good. The room was rather small and the walls thin. The people in the next room could be heard partying until 1am. The food was good but expensive. And it cost 6gbp for 40 minutes for internet access on a computer in the internet lounge.

Despite being near main roads and a railway line, it was not noisy. The room was not too hot like some hotels are. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
