Score from 1912 reviews Very good
The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is very nice. Originally we did not book the room with breakfast, but we could add the option at the reception for less than what is advertised.
The hotel is a bit outside the main attractions. It is between two metro stops, and there is a bit of a walk to either of them, nothing major but worth to note. The windows have good sound proofing, but you will hear your neighbors. Price performance wise, consider that most hotels I have seen in London are quite expensive.
Breakfast was good but staff bit surley.
Staff werent friendly seemed too much trouble.
Staff were superb and could not have been more helpful if they had tried. Breakfast was excellent. Location was amazing.
The heating/air con in the room did not work.
Friendly, helpful staff at reception and in the bar. Room - good sized, clean and comfortable. Location - near Lord's Cricket Ground. St John's Wood underground station was a short walk but buses stop very near the hotel to get to various central London areas.
Very good hotel and value for money
Great for getting around. No 13 bus outside hotel takes you down Baker Street (underground station) along Oxford street down Regent street and along the Strand.
Cost of breakfast not everyone has business expenses.Could do with brighter lights over the bed so easier to read.
Location for travelling in London Hotel Facilities were excellent Hotel staff were extremely helpful
Bed was a little hard Getting to the hotel proved a nightmare!
Hotel was great.. Visiting family in Warick Avenue so was close by.. Few mins walk. Would def stay again.
Nice location in front of Regent's Park Small but comfortable room Big hotel, well managed and staffed
Good breakfast (but not included in room rate!) Rooms are not soundproof (noises and voices from corridor can be distinctly heard)
Bar staff were unattentive and rude. Not near enough tube station
If your watching cricket its an awesome location
Its dated and overpriced.
the hotel is clean, near st johns wood,
we woke up at 9am from drilling on the floor above us, when we called them they said they were doing maintenance.. and no one had told us about it. we had to call them twice to tell them to stop...it stopped two hours later...they told us it would go on for a few days and that we could change our room if we want.. ..room is tinier than it looks in pictures
We loved it last year so we came back this year and we'll be back next year too
my only complaint was that the concierge did not have accurate information on the closure of St Johns Wood tube
Rooms very good graet value for London
Location not so good - distance from Tube etc
Friendly & helpful staff. Food excellent. Very clean & comfortable room.
Lack of Wifi or information on how to obtain it. Must admit we didn't ask about this but if wifi is available it should be advertised in room.
Very handy for Lord's.
Breakfast a bit mass market
everything was fine
The hotel i situated in a very nice area close to beautiful Regents Park. It is very easy to reach the city by underground or bus. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.
The breakfast is ordinary but there is no other options to have breakfast in the area.
everything apart from problems with the WIFI service
the internet service during the last three days of my stay
Our room located on the 4th floor and not facing a main road, was very quiet, and the bed extremely comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fine. The hotel decor is rather dated.
Location availability of adaptors (uk has different electrical plug)
Service shabby building and furniture interior design breakfast noise insulation- seems that the neighbours are in your room obviously hotel "enjoys" the partnership with London Business School, and has a guaranteed customer "supply " as a result therefore does not do an effort which all the hotels need to do to survive
The staff at concierge are really nice and helpful.
1.The staff at reception are a bit arrogant. 2.We found there are traces of purple liquid on one of the cups in room after we check in, which is really disgusting. 3.My phone cannot be connected to WIFI on the second day we leave. 4.Poor sound insulation. 5.Tap water has some strange taste.
Excellent location and standard of service from the staff. A good recommendation on your part.
Standard lamp did not work and the absence of a room safe was disappointing.
The good variety of breakfast available.
The room was too warm. We requested a double room and were offered a twin room twice
