Location is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was a very nice size and larger than expected and the bed very comfy.
It's a bit dated in places. The lighting in the bedroom is not great.
Handy for shopping in Solihull, Birmingham and Bicester village. Lunch and dinner are good.
Cooked breakfast not up to standard, compared to lunch or dinner.
Everything was fine, all you expect of a town centre hotel including parking
The staff and the service

Our room was very near Reception and therefore rather noisy.

Television/freeview wasn't very modern and clunky to work, dislike paying for breakfast.

Location Comfortable room Value for money
Television wasn't working but soon sorted.
Loved the location of the hotel on the edge of the shopping and restaurant areas where we didn't experience any night time noise. Hotel parking was plentiful and check-in very efficient and staff were very helpful and friendly.
We didn't experience anything negative.
Hotel nicely situated in town centre and handy as a shopping location it was lovely to see the bowling green in use and the appearance of the restaurant smart and formally laid out prior to use
Reception area congestec at times due to narrow entrance to hotel
Noise from party going on downstairs. Also noisy people in room downstairs beneath our room.

Noise late at night and early in the morning To close our bedroom door we had to slam it and from the noise most other doors were the same
Comfort & cleanliness of the room, friendly staff.
Acoustics- I was kept awake by noisy neghbours until 2am. I could hear their drunken antics clearly through the paper thin walls. Then was awoken at 5.50am by the staff talking outside my room as they loaded the hire minibus thro the fire doors, & reversing noises from the minibus. I checked out & had to grab an hours sleep in my car at the Environment Agency car park, outside my meeting location. Far from Ideal, & in hindsite, should have just drove down in the morning from Liverpool.
The room upstairs was nice Shower and bath filled quickly
Room was one of most expensive yet the furthest to walk! The room was too warm The spiral staircase is just dangerous!
2 minute walk to the town centre Large family room Good valued for money
1 Free Wifi 2 View from room - bowling green 3 Heating when required 4 Good shower
1 Bedroom furniture & bathroom looking tired 2 Pillows too hard 3 Noise in corridor from late night revellers
Room was clean. Bathroom clean and tidy and the room had all the facilities you would expect from tea/coffee making facilities to a iron and hairdryer.
Room view was over a car park but for a city hotel that's often the outlook.

parents with unruly children running in the corridors outside bedrooms and playing in the lifts
