We were looking online for a premiere inn/travelodge in the sutton coldfield area and found this ramada with a pool/spa complex priced lower than either of the 'budget'priced inns I mentioned.we decided to give it a go based on cost and were really very pleasantly surprised and would most definitely stay there again. Not sure if I would consider staying there at full price though but at the booking.com price which I guess was about half then I would. Nice family room,en suite, overlooking a lake with a bridge that connected via the french doors from our room to the pool/spa plus a very nice patio area immediately outside our room where you could sit and relax looking out over the lake. The restaurant was good and the breakfast the next morning was great.

A value for money hotel with friendly staff and a pleasant location. We especially liked our spacious room and excellent shower room. As the weather was sunny it would have been appreciated if more outside seating was provided, especially near the bar. The outside seating by the bar was very busy and we had to sit inside the hotel, which was unfortunate.

Hotel generally ok Food excellent, apartfrom 1 fillet steak which was full of gristle.when complained staff disappeared. when I booked 2 rooms i did not expect my 89 year old father to be in the main hotel and myself in an annex(which could have easily been mistaken for the staff quarters, but was clean.Loud banging in the main hotel (not sorted immediately) but sorted by being given 50 percent discount off room rate.

Desk staff - I arrived there and your internet system had not recorded my booking. Desk staff were helpful Room needs tidying up. It isn't a Ramada hotel in the literal sense because I am tiold it is a franchise branded name. I think my room needs sprucing up. I liked the staff. I would not pay £74 in the future for the room. I get more from other places. THE STAFF ARE YOUR BEST ASSET HERE - LOOK AFTER THEM

Good location, not bad value for money. Good breakfast. From what I could see, the whole hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. Although clean enough, the whole place is very tired. Bedrooms were also very noisy.

The radiator in my room which was Room 1 didn't seem to work, and I couldn't watch programmes on ITV nor C4 as the TV kept saying that it wasn't able to pick up the signal for those channels.

We booked a family room and different to the 4 times before we had a Suite. What looked good was really a bad thing: the heating system was extremely noisy in that room no 5. We complained, then it stopped the next night but came back the following night. Never, ever again...

Nice leisure facilities and grounds Our room did not get made up for two days, despite having the 'Please make up my room' sign from about 10am to 5pm and complaining at the end of day 1. Even when they did make up the room, they left one fresh towel from a twin room that was clearly occupied by two people. Our heater did not work, they ran out of non-feather pillows and the room was generally quite shabby. The leisure facilities were nice and the pool was lovely and warm but the spa pool could have done with being a couple of degrees warmer.

A very short stay unfortunately and I would have liked to enjoy the leisure activities more but had to go to a 40th birthday. The room (5111) was superb for the length of stay and had all we needed (less internet cable). Dining room was a pleasure to use and well done on the breakfast selection and presentation.

It was very close to the location that our function was being held. The Staff were very polite and helpfull. The General decor in the hotel rooms (we had two) is all rather "tired" and the drains seemed to have a problem as there was a very odd smell in the reception area and in the Bathroom of our allocated Room. The Bed was dreadfull and all night I felt like i was going to roll out of it, the end result being one of the worst nights sleep I have had in a long time
