The location is stunning. The room are spacious and clean. Good value. There is no elevator, so it is hard with young children when we are on the top floor. The food at the restaurant is very average and is not worth the price.

Place has a welcoming, relaxed feel. Our first dinner reservation was great - really enjoyed the food. Room clean and neutral - a good size compared to many. Mussels were not worthy of menu space. I wouldn't have served them at home. In spite of 'feedback welcome' signs, staff seemed to resent the feedback.

Loved the grounds that the hotel was set in. The breakfast was fabulous, and the children ate for free. The bathroom smelt quite strongly of urine, not sure it had been cleaned properly from the previous guests.

Nice bed and furnishings - with proper drawers. Very clean. Delightful surroundings Four floors and no lift. Pool changing rooms cramped and shabby. Beware the hot water; you could boil an egg in it. If you want drinks with your restaurant meal, go to the bar yourself, its quicker. TV channels package has limited choice.

Food was excellent. Staff helpful, good parking, very attractive setting, confortable lounge area and good wifi access for such a semi rural setting Bit on the expensive side as breakfast was not included in price, been in similar standard hotels and got it included in price, bedroom could have done with a small settee or comfortable chair, tea, coffee not replaced and also note pad its the details that make it sometimes but it was a all round good stay

The Beauty Treatment therapist was very good and the spa and pool area seemed well cared for and clean The bed was comfortable and the linen in bathroom and bedroom clean The curtains in the dining room were ripped and the heat was at times overpowering in the bedroom though the radiator was not on maybe because we were above the pool ! Never seem to be enough sugar and milk in hotel rooms !!

I was only there one night, but i must say it was refreshing for the first time in a long while to stay at a nice place. Everything was clean, tidy and well organised. The staff were great and it was a relaxing atmosphere. Well done. My only regret was that i did not try out the pool facilities,(a bit tired after the journey). For me that usually seals the deal for me. Would i go back, absolutely. Will try out the pool next time. Nothing, everyhting was good

Great small swimming pool - perfect for young children. One dinner very good. Lack of clarity about charging for breakfast - rather expensive unless you want a full English. Second day, no hot buffet but only hot food on request and not immediately offered.
