Overall hotel was fine, ideal location, front desk staff friendly, clean tidy rooms.
Beds very uncomfortable. Noisy, could hear doors slamming, people running in corridors, no sound proofing at all. Leisure staff unhelpful - did not offer door codes, only gave mens changing area code though staff could clearly see we were male & female. No towels or accessible locker key - had to keep going back to reception to ask for these items each time. Went to reception a total of 5 times just to use the pool. Attitude of staff was terrible.
Good spa and pool facilities
Lack of staff to give out towels, keys for lockers, etc. No visible poolside attendant in case of emergencies
Loved the shower although shower door leaked. Breakfast good
Spa wasn't working in pool area, changing room could be cleaner, only small towel available for swim or had to use towel from room.
Pillows were uncomfortable Had to pay for films Jacuzzi was out of order The food we ordered at room service wasn't very nice
Staff, service, girl in bar gave a great service every morning, after first morning she knew what I was requiring and advised me to take a seat and she would be right over with my latte. Also very charming and helpful
Location. Taxi to and from hotel varied from £10 to £14. Also had to wait at least 10 mins for taxi to arrive
bar room staff breakfast
had to wait at bar to be served as there was no one there.limited menu
The restaurant is good and the location was fine.
Too much to walk to reach your room and to find the room was a mission. I wish they had it more clearly guided. Ir lift would be a help.
The wifi was super fast
The rooms were dated, the room we were given was next to the astro turf football pitches. Not much selection in the breakfast.
Car park is poorly surfaced Bar menu is pricey
Comfortable bed, breakfast included, ease of parking.
Duvet too heavy making sleeping very hot. Separate sheet on bed would have been a help.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, not as many facilities as some other hotels I have stayed in for the price range but everything necessary was so can't complain
Unfortunately when staying there was a hundreds of children running around causing mischief which spoiled our stay (not really the hotel's fault but it did impact our stay)
Large bed, clean & comfortable room, and free Wifi. Breakfast was spot on, good selection, and tasty!
Toilet pan was tight too the wall, and was uncomfortable as you were almost hanging off the other side. Seemed to be a lot of traffic noise, or might have been from Elstree airport which is fairly clos
Easy parking Quiet room away from traffic
No hot food available after 9.30pm and only a McDonalds close by. Dated feeling public areas.
The wifi staff were helpful room was nice and had lots of space
The main things we didn't enjoy was that 1) the floor boards were creaky and could here people all hours of night, 2) we put the house keeping sign on door for the room to be made up but after returning back to the room hours later we didn't receive any housekeeping
Disinterested staff. Breakfast was a farce, nobody on desk to allocate a table, had to find a recently vacated one and clear it myself. Never offered coffee etc. Signage around a fairly large hotel in non-existent, lots of guests wandering about looking lost. Finally I am in no way a snob, but if you pay £136 for B&B in a '4 Star' hotel I would not expect to be called 'mate' on more than one occasion by the staff!
Pool and gym Good Staff Location Room
the whole experience
I unexpectedly enjoyed the stay. Its 5 stars from me! Great value!
Robin on reception desk helpful
wifi not very reliable... location - hard to find... Took me ages to find staff at 1am when my room key didn't work....no-one on reception desk
Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Wife has food allergies and they catered for this superbly
The noise in the corridor outside our room on a Saturday night woke me on several occasions. Whilst I can't blame the Hotel, this was very annoying.
it was near to ISKCON temple rooms were decent
extremely complex corridor need to walk quite a lot from reception to come to the room bit expensive compare to what they offer
Everything about this hotel is excellent
Check-in and check-out was efficient and speedy. The facilities were good - bar, restaurant, gym and swimming pool. Although I didn't use this I noted that the room service menu looked comprehensive.
There wasn't anything really not to like because as I said check-in and check-out was efficient and speedy. The facilities were good - bar, restaurant, gym and swimming pool. Although I didn't use this I noted that the room service menu looked comprehensive.
breakfast, car parking
Pool closed at 21:00, room very tired and dated bit shabby, hotel looks like it needs a refurb
