The evening reception man was extremely friendly and very helpful
Room smelled of smoke when we entered it no bedside locker on one side of bed carpet stained
Good comfortable hotel, with good restaurant and wifi was good everywhere.
This hotel is definitely at the top of list for hotels in Watford. The staff deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism, the rooms are to a high level in terms of cleanliness and comfort and the car park is accessible and welcoming.
Nothing about it to dislike
We asked for a baby cot, when we arrived wasn't in our room. Several call and after 2 hours they take it.
Enjoyed swimming & using steam room etc
Nice breakfast. Hotel covered all bases. Its my first choice ion that area.
Swimming pool was the reason we booked. My son loved it.
Food was over priced and underwhelming. Same menu at another Accor hotel was presented much better for the same price. It did not taste as good. I paid too much for not great food. Diss appointing. Not shown to the lift with a heavy case . The handle broke when it fell down the stairs.
Location and car parking. It was a nice stay and friendly staff Asif at about 11.45 pm on Friday evening and when we left by Raj. Both were very helpful and friendly. I wish they put some bright lighting in the rooms and upgrade the bed. I had a poor nights sleep with back ache in tge morning. Rest all was good.
Poor comfort of bed. Dark rooms need more bright lighting.
Good facilities and good breakfast
The whole place is tatty and run on the cheap they don't even put doors on the wardrobes would never stay there again
Near to Delrow community, extra beds
Strange layout, transparent toilet door, no outer bathroom door.,
Location was great. Nice swimming pool facilities. Friendly staff at check in and at the bar.
The room was very old and smelt awful. Terrible television. Look of hotel from outside. Small beds.
It a decent hotel, was cleaned properly every night i stayed. easy to find and only about a 10 min drive away from shopping and restraunts which is convenient
The room i was in was like a maze to get to, there only seemed to be the one enterence into the hotel and it felt like forever to get to the room. And some of the staff seemed quite rude
Good location, easy to get to, free wifi
Took ages to check-in as staff were slow always a wait even to print a couple of e-mail attachments as staff were very slow. Our room was noisy behind some football pitch, the cups in our room were very dirty even though we never used them. The tv was not very good as it worked very poorly and for a 4* hotel thought room should have been of a better standard.
We asked for a wake up call at 8.30 & we received nothing. We had to leave the hotel by 9.30. We did not wake until 9.40. This made it extremely hard to get to our destination by 10.30. Extremely upsetting & very annoyed with this.
Cheap hotel for the location.
Corridors smelled stale, other than reception the staff were grumpy.
We had an upgraded newly refurbished room. Very nice, tasteful design and clean. Comfy bed and for the location, a good rate.
Room service took too long. We asked for extra milk, half an hour later we had to chase.
Have bed before and liked the pool but unfortunately didn't get to use it this time.
Fire alarms going off on both nights stay, first night had to evacuate room (with a dazed to year old), second night several alarms throughout the duration. A very miserable stay. With no offer of explanation or apology.
On arrival I found that the debit card I had changed to on booking.com hadn't been registered with the hotel causing a lot of twoing & froing to reception about because hotel bar didn't accept debit cards. fire alarm went off at 4 am
really poor quality beds...very noisy...the fire alarm went off 4 times throughout the night until morning I'm talking 4am...worst stay ever
I didn't like the fact that the fire alarm went off atleast twice during the night leaving me still very tired from a long hard working week the next day! Their was also alot of coridoor noise during silent hours which should have been monitered strictly from the night staff...I left even more tired than when I arrived...
Staff were pleasant and helpful, handy location for Warner Bros Studio's and town centre. Bar Food was nice and room service prompt. Clean and tidy.
Rooms a little dated but comfortable. Signage (to pool etc) could perhaps be a little clearer and perhaps some background music when sitting poolside. Poolside could also be a bit more pleasant with very little effort.
Comfy bed. excellent breakfast served by pleasant staff. Good location for visiting Harry potter studios and not far from station to get into london. Got it at a very reasonable price for twin room so can't really complain. Would stay again.
Walls very thin, could hear person in next room snoring, and when they shower or use the toilet it really loud also. Luckily I can sleep through anything but if your a light sleeper you may struggle.
Can't think of any good part.
Will not stay there again ever.
