Free Wifi and Parking
The room was cold, the bathroom was small and needs updating with the paint etc coming off. The workmen at 745am with power tools in the next room wasn't the best wake up call. Staff outside my room noisily talking and nonsense not long after the workmen. Most of all the lack of consideration on my check out where 'Raj' didn't look up from the computer to acknowledge I was there, when asked 'is that it?' A small smile and 'yes' was the reply then back down to the computer, didn't ask how my stay was, which wasn't good and didn't ask about my room. Was his computer actually that important when a customer was standing in front of you? 'Hospitality' industry.....it's in the title!
Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The food (breakfast buffet) was delicious and unfriended
The room was a little too shabby to be described as 4*, and the bath drain was blocked - you were paddling in three inches of water after the briefest shower!
Everything else was satisfactory. Staff were helpful and warm. Didn't eat.
staff were lovely and willing to help, stayed for two nights in the privelege room, worth the price as it meant we didn't have to walk too far to our room and it was considerably big!
nothing not to like!
I enjoyed the cleanliness of this hotel, the health centre sold it for me and my partner, including the gym and swim facilities great value for money
The receptionist wasn't very polite . He asked if I wanted to pay extra for breakfast which I had already paid for. I'm no expert but I'm sure you can see my order details on your system. Even after I produced the card I used to place the order he still asked me several security questions. I felt embarrassed and victimized as if being a young afro caribe an male placing this order was suspect. Also at breakfast there wasn't much of a variety of foods to choose from. Also if your not driving make sure you have cash to take taxi as the closest set of shops are a 17 min drive away from the hotel with no direct buses
Location, tidyness and the size of the rooms
Toilet facilities especially the flushing system requires immediate attention. Flush buttons very hard and water pressure into cistern too low.
Staff friendly and helpful.
We upgraded room to a Privilege. However, radiator in room was leking and I ended up with wet feet when I went to open the window, In addition the iron did not work and there was no working extractor fan in the bathroom. Also, there was no newspaper delivered. I mentioned these points to reception - on the 1st evening they sent someone round quickly but said there was nothing they could do - next morning I pointed out that we can still hear radiator dripping and they moved us to a different room. Unfortunately they did not provide us with the coffee machine or houserobes slippers, and again on the 2nd day there was no newspaper supplied, and again there was no operating extractor fan in the second ( refurbished ) room, which also had poor wi fi in the room. On check out they did offer to refund the cost of the upgrade on the second room but they then wanted us to pay for the movies that we had watched and all in all we found that unacceptable. Staff friendly but given what we paid and issues that we encountered we won't be staying there again.
Friendliness of restaurant staff in the evening.
Mix up over bill at the end, not a particular helpful check in. No temp control in the room.
Close to where we were visiting and reasonable price. Parking brilliant
Rather threadbare and well worn in places
Other than the above! The wifi worked well and was included. The gym was good and came as part of the price, which makes a change from lots of the London hotels. I had asked for a quiet room and as the hotel is built around a central court yard, my bed room faced in towards this rather than facing out towards the road. This is probably worth asking for again.
Not that it bothered me but the room was on the first floor (there are only 2) and had very squeaky floor boards. The bathroom had a slight 70s feel to it with an avocado corner suit bath, but it was all clean.
The room, breakfast and the staff's was very helpful
The Philippino receptionist was very beautiful.
Facility's were fantastic the rooms were nice small and cozy
Chlorine in the swimming pool and jacuzzi was very strong also the bedroom was really cold heating was turned up full and still didn't heat the room
The evening reception man was extremely friendly and very helpful
Room smelled of smoke when we entered it no bedside locker on one side of bed carpet stained
Good comfortable hotel, with good restaurant and wifi was good everywhere.
This hotel is definitely at the top of list for hotels in Watford. The staff deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism, the rooms are to a high level in terms of cleanliness and comfort and the car park is accessible and welcoming.
Nothing about it to dislike
We asked for a baby cot, when we arrived wasn't in our room. Several call and after 2 hours they take it.
Enjoyed swimming & using steam room etc
Nice breakfast. Hotel covered all bases. Its my first choice ion that area.
Swimming pool was the reason we booked. My son loved it.
Food was over priced and underwhelming. Same menu at another Accor hotel was presented much better for the same price. It did not taste as good. I paid too much for not great food. Diss appointing. Not shown to the lift with a heavy case . The handle broke when it fell down the stairs.
Location and car parking. It was a nice stay and friendly staff Asif at about 11.45 pm on Friday evening and when we left by Raj. Both were very helpful and friendly. I wish they put some bright lighting in the rooms and upgrade the bed. I had a poor nights sleep with back ache in tge morning. Rest all was good.
Poor comfort of bed. Dark rooms need more bright lighting.
Good facilities and good breakfast
The whole place is tatty and run on the cheap they don't even put doors on the wardrobes would never stay there again
Near to Delrow community, extra beds
Strange layout, transparent toilet door, no outer bathroom door.,
