Swimming area was excellent
Location was not good. Room was unbearably hot and staff did not bother to do anything about this so we did not sleep well at all! No air-conditioning!
The bed! Was so comfortable unlike a lot of low cost hotels.
Nothing to dislike.
Thin walls could hear neighbours very clearly. Not cleaned properly found hairs on pillows and in bathroom. Reception staff awful no customer service experience. Whole hotel badly in need of an update.
That it had a spa and swimming pool.
We wasn't told about the wifi and I wanted a double room but bed was to singles pushed together and you can feel the gap in the middle.
Leisure facilities were good and food was of a good standard
Lay out of hotel was a little confusing
Restaurant and food
decor and rooms a bit tired.
Convenient location and comfortable beds
Room carpets were threadbare and check-in/out very busy
It just needs a refurbishment, its a busy hotel but very tired.
There is no lift or facilities for disabled guests. There are no porters to assist with baggage.
Good value and room was fine.
Walls very thin; No door on the ensuite. There was a glass shower screen to close off the toilet. It offered no privacy at all as it was not full length and glass!!
The noise from other guests having a party in the next room, I was eventually moved by the night porter but only after twice calling to complain
Room and over priced
The staff changed my room on request due to excessive noise
hotel is to big No seats in de lobby
Reception staff were friendly and helpful
The restaurant was very poor with the buffet dishes not being replaced so customers were waiting or not getting their choices. People in the room next door seemed to be having a party, very antisocial.
Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very clean.
Was on ground floor and had a car alarm wake me before I needed to be up.
Bed was comfy, shower was good, room was nice.
2 days before our arrival a member of staff phoned me to say we were being moved to the holiday inn 13 miles away. No real explanation and offered at the same price. Unhelpful, worrying, not a good start... Same member of staff rude on checkout. Won't be staying again.
Great amenities, great price for location.
Expensive and limited bar and restraunt.
Gym facilities,Clean ,comfortable rooms. No charge for parking.
That didn't get to eat at restaurant. Think breakfast is too expensive even tho the company pays for it
The hotel is easy to find from the M1 and is a 10 minute drive from the Harry Potter Studio Tour. There is a pleasant, if slightly dated, swimming pool. The room was clean and recently refurbished and breakfast and bar dinner good quality. All staff were very helpful and friendly
The hotel is a bit of a maze, and the corridors and external elevations away from the main entrance and frontage show the age of the building. The location didn't appear to be that good for public transport access to Central London.
it was really great time ahead there enjoy it,
The hotel was generally just dirty and smelly. The corridors to the rooms were particularly smelly and just not clean. The bedroom was fine. Bathrooms need updating along with a lot more of the hotels facilities. However an ok stay with a good breakfast!
Free access to wifi. Bathroom.
Useless Staff took ages to check in. Again useless Staff gave me a keycard sent me halfway around the hotel to find I can not get into my room as keycard had not been programmed. Went back to get another key card. Asked weeks in advance for quite location of the hotel put me right near above the garden seating area couldn't get to sleep had to have the windows open as very hot and none stop talking outside. Asked for a move put me even closer got fed up after the second move. Didn't now have a double bed so had to give me twin. Bed was bad looked like kids probably been jumping on it mattress was bad had two bad nights of sleep. Also both rooms smelled stale so did the pillows and covers was a bo type smell not nice. Had to spray the room with my edt worth £60 to make the room smell at least nice. Twice I used the bar which was not busy and both times two members of staff on the till couldn't work out how to use it and I only ordered a coke. So decided against ordering any food. Stay away.
Welcoming staff, room was quite small considering it was a deluxe room. Modern but small. Bathrobes are all one size, for a fully grown man and I am a petite woman so not helpful. All in all was nice
Good size bed
Poor shower and fire exit door kept being opened.. Kept me awake all night! No AC so was stuck with a miniature fan.. very annoying.
