Score from 274 reviews Very good
Located just off the M6 motorway, this Days Inn is a 10-minute drive from Stafford. It has a range of breakfasts, a restaurant, free parking and rooms with TVs.
Score from 293 reviews Good
Nice bar and restaurant areas. Easy access to motorway from hotel. Good selection for breakfast which made stay good value for money.
Check in staff (one lady in particular) very rude and not very welcoming. Poor hospitality/communication skills. Plastic disposable cups in bathroom.
It was like sleeping on the Highway. No double glazing, the windows were wet in the morning. Let's say 'down stairs ' was very good but 'upstairs' was terrible. I will be coming to Stoke on business over the next 2 months and will have to think hard about staying with you. The breakfast was excellent but I need my sleep, the pillows were also very cheap and uncomfortable .
It's all above!
Staff were incompitant and scruffy. Rooms were in a disgusting state of repair, carpets and walls were stained with who knows what, bathroom was disgusting and the electric didn't work!
Breakfast all you can eat lovely
Creaky floor boards
There was a lot of choice for breakfast and the breakfast staff were friendly. The receptionist when we arrived was helpful but could have smiled more.
Some of the breakfast items were lukewarm and the creaky floorboards can be noisy. Also the hotel looks like it needs abit of love and attention.
The service and the rooms and the breakfast was fine
Carpets inside the room should be change and some tiles was broken
The Hotel rooms were very shabby, not a clean spot in the room.
Spacious room, clean and perfect wifi. Receptionist was fantastic, obviously hasn't had 'Corporate' training and become a robot, very natural and good with guests. Locationvery handy and good valuegor money.
Breakfast opening late, however just a niggle
Location perfect for our needs. Good breakfast, public areas very smart.
Slightly tired in bedrooms and housekeeping not ideal.
I towel between 2, no lights in the bathroom, tv didn't work in the room, had to call someone to check in at 9pm!!! Had to search the hotel to find a bar man at 9:30pm all in all a terrible hotel
Parking.hairdryer.Comfy bed. Good shower. 35min drive from Alton towers and 15 from Hanley town centre.
Staff have no customer service, carpets stained, thin walls, creaky halls, Not very clean, Old dark hotel. Old key lock that barely work and when I first turned on a lamp it went bang and blew the electric!.
Rooms pretty dusty. Mould on ceilings
handy good value
stairs - no lift needs an exhaust fan in the bathroom the tiling in the bath allows the water from the shower to run onto the floor.
Staff excellent and helpful Good facilities including hairdryer!
Noisy overnight - doors slamming. Bed was very hard
I needed a hotel close to a meeting
Worst hotel i have stayed in for a long time. Very dirty needs deep cleaning.
Cost of the hotel, ample parking, lovely restaurant and dining areas.
Decor needs attention, especially in the corridors, looking very tired now. Also, not the hotel's fault but a guest caused quite a disturbance in the early hours shouting, swearing and banging on various room doors which made for a few disgruntled guests!
Felt at home, Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, good location
Wifi was slow
The bathroom was lovely
The hotel looked very dated outside and the pictures perceived it different. Ive stayed in hotels and paid less and they were much nicer
Bed was comfortable.
Wifi didn't work in my room as it was out of range. Plughole in Bath contained a lot of hairs. Cleaner entered room at 10 am when check out wasn't until 11 am.
The staff, the rooms. You could not turn the heat off.
Breakfast was good!
Rooms too hot and dusty!
Only 1 member of staff covering reception and the bar. She could've did with some help.
this hotel is great value for money
keycards need resetting regularly
instant coffee in a dirty communal bowl at breakfast. Whatever happened to proper coffee?
Rooms are very good for the price
Wifi was painfully slow. Had trouble with the key cards. I was told I was in room 4 for example but the key card didn't work or I got in but someone was taking a shower in there... Apart from that pretty good
