The whole thing location, staff, room quality, was so much better than we could have hoped for at the price. Just stayed there for one night after Carfest North, would certainly recommended this hotel.
Nothing at all to complain about.
Room was small but clean and functional, good for an over nighter but probably not a longer stay. Breakfast was good. All for a fair price
Quite noisy in the morning and there was a random chair in the room that there wasn't a need for or space for, just got in the way
My room had been refurbished & the bathroom refitted (it was lovely). There were plenty of power sockets for recharging phones/laptops etc & the TV was a decent sized screen
The only problem was the lack of control over heating, which was turned off. Sadly, the weather had turned cold.
Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good value for money.
The stair climb to top floor room however refurbishment, including a lift is currently being undertaken which clearly will solve that problem. The noise from the railway. Work being carried out on the tracks at 3.00am. Our top floor room contained a window with insufficient vent opening. Fortunately the weather was not hot or humid
Rooms recently refurbish very clean good bathroom
We were advised by a taxi driver not to go drinking on Nantwich Road ,this was on a Saturday night ,sure enough there was a lot of fighting around one pub.Go to Nantwich for a few drinks and restaurants
Excellent breakfast. So handy for the station which has trains going everywhere.
Refurbished bedroom needs snagging.
I got the to crewe arms pretty late at night but was delighted to see it was close to the train station and also had rooms, the service was very good and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, thank you very much for mu stay
Missing breakfast but my own fault lol
recently modernised room,very nice
gym was being done up so it was closed
Very relaxed but professional at the same time.
Back door not working at 10pm at night and us not realising and standing outside waiting for a response. A small note to enter through the front door would have been good.
spacious, clean close to railway station
Obvious redecoration of the room and parts of the hotel looked refreshed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location excellent for train station. Prompt response to e mail enquiry.
Bathroom fittings not finished and. shower bottle empty. Dark lighting in the entrance and bar area.
We use to live in crewe
The room was cool, and nice and quiet.
When we arrived we were given a double room, when we actually booked a twin. We were given a twin room eventually, but this was a room for disabled guests. There was no remote control for the TV. (How would disabled have coped?) The toilet was blocked and could not be used. The same applied to most of the other toilets on the ground floor. The breakfast was good, but the baked beans seemed to have been there quite a while and had dried up.
Close to station.
Non of my stay
The hotel receptionist was most helpful, when having allocated me a room, I found there was no lighting and so after a couple of trips through the maze of hotel corridors he found another room albeit a lot smaller than the original, but it was fairly late; he remained calm, very helpful and politeful. So well done to him!
The room advertised free wifi there was none, the rooms were plumbed incorrectly and there was no double glazing ( I realise that this is an old building); but it should have been stated that the rooms at the back of the old building WILL FEEL AND HEAR THE EFFECTS from the station, railway lines and station announcer!! But the wifi was specifically need and no hint that it was done for the weekend.
The hotel is a value for money establishment that isn't tying to 'be something it's not'. I was really, really impressed with the staff's attentiveness and general engagement with us as a whole family. Food was great too and plentiful with great choice to suit all our needs especially breakfast.
We were attending a wedding at another venue. The crewe Arms was within walking distance and everything was excellent. I would defiantly stay there again. We paid £62 and buffet breakfast was also included which was excellent.
The only thing was the shower was a mixer tap which was quite cheap looking and worked off the taps which I found a bit awkward to use.
very friendly good clean
noise outside window
Noise from railway and road. Fire alarms going off in the night and the standard of food alonwith construction work and mess
Staff very friendly and helpful, Rooms very clean. Food plentiful and excellent for dinner and breakfast. Very good value especially taking into account location.
No Wi-Fi - this was due to on-going refurbishment. But still a bit of a pain. A temporary set up for common area would have been helpful.
Long location from receiption. NO lift for bagggage
Near the railway station
Newly refurbished room.
No one on Reception when we arrived.
