The location for shopping was excellent. The nearby transport links with both buses and trams enabled us to get around without worrying about the car. |

the beds were very uncomfortable they were just 2 beds pushed together that left a gap in the middle something which i was not expecting i booked the hotel on the premise that the beds were big and comfortable this left a lot to be desired |

good shower. good view of piccadilly room was small. noise from next door. mix up with car park charge, ran out of food at breakfast, not enough lifts. could not get a reply when rang to sort out car park charge. |

The breakfast was very good! having a central location means there will always be some noise outside. Piccadilly Gardens bus and tram stop meant that it was fairly constant. |

I was pleased with the room and the hotel in general was very suitable for my overnight stay. I would of liked to have been informed of the parking facilities in more detail. I arrived early evening and the hotel car park was already full. |

Not alot, the food wasn't great and it was quite expensive. Side orders should be included in the price not added on as extra. plus we went for dinner at 9.15 and did not get our starters until 10.00. also, if i wanted fried food i would have went to a chip shop. did not expect to get deep fried onion rings from a packet nor wedges. i could cook these things at home. plus our food looked and tasted like it was cooked earllier on in the day and just re-heated. very disappointing. all of the above. ther is also no point in offering room service when you can only get certain things on the menu. I will not be staying at this hotel again. |

nice clean comfortable hotel, good breakfast, room over looking the gardens lovely view of Christmas lights.Very near the Arndale center for shopping Price of drinks very expensive !. Poor service at breakfast ,we had finished our breakfast before tea, and toast arrived. We travel to Manchester around four times a year and will try another hotel and hopefully get tea & coffee with our breakfast next time |

The location of the hotel was fabulous. Was right in the centre of the city which was great for shopping, (with the famous Arndale centre right on the doorstep) restaurants (including china town just down the road)and night life. The M.E.N Arena was in walking distance along with trams and busses. The hotel was very clean, rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed that we stayed in wasn't very comfortable, the mattress was too small for the bed, there was a good gap between the headboard and the mattress which meant every time you moved the pillow was falling down the gap so we was forever pulling it back out and if we moved down the bed then our feet was hanging over the edge. It was the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel. I was also dissappointed that the hotel advertised that they had there own parking (which was handy as we would struggle to park in the centre) but once we had parked up they charged us £12 for parking, For the price you charge for the hotel I would think the parking would be free. |

comfort, staff efficiency and friendliness, location Allocated wrong room (double not twin) on arrival, so had to change rooms and they promised to to separate the beds. Several hours later it was still not done so i had to request it. Also, only 2 tea bags provided, |

The hotel was really clean and well maintained, friendly staff, good breakfast choice, quiet but excellent location Only criticism is the lack of pillows-2 each would be nice and some of the food at breakfast was not quite hot but that is all. |

The atmosphere, obviously a lot of people staying a popular choice The male reception staff member as when on booking in was curt in response as he did not like being asked questions whilst he booked us in. This being the most important part of a hotel first impression this man obviously didnt like the look of us and made that plain. |

I have stayed at this hotel several times and the staff is very friendly. Very nice time chatting to them and they seem genuinely interested in maintaining the relationship. A gym and/or swimming pool or spa would be a good addition to the hotel. Actually, you would expect that a hotel of this calibre had these facilities as standard. |

The reception staff were absolutley fantastic and very very helful There are only 3 lifts and a lot of rooms. This meant having to wait a very long time to get the lift and the stairs were very difficult to find! |

This hotel was booked for an afternoon visit to the Christmas Markets and an evening visit to a concert. It was good for both purposes and the car parking was useful. The internet directions were perfect. The dinner was OK, but took a long time to arrive. This meant we were clockwatching to ensure we were not late for the concert. They did not seem to be geared up for early diners and another time we would probably dine out at a local restaurant. |

Location of Hotel was ideal for visiting the centre of Manchester, the theatre or the football grounds. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was a shambles. Insuufficient staff cold tea poor sevice. |
