I liked the reception we received when we arrived as we had travelled from Spain and required to stay overnight before returning home the next day. The check in was conducted very efficiently and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was superb and we were offered the option of a high level floor. The room was very clean and comfortable and we were able to get great views over the city. There were lots of bars shops and restaurants in close vicinity to the hotel which was great for going out at night. The service in the restaurant was superb. The restaurant was very airy bright and comfortable and the food was of excellent quality. Will certainly return and already planning a short stay before Christmas.

The view onto Picadilly Gardens and across the city towards the pennines wast very pleasing on the eyes. Great location for the city centre.Small double room but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. My only complaint would be the breakfast fiasco which on reflection was funny but not recommended for the more particular client. We were shown to our clean and empty table waiting for cutlery, tea and toast whilst watching all the surrounding tables being made up. Eventually, after catching someones eye we were served with a large hot jug of tea.Unfortunately, we were not able to indulge in a nice cuppa because we could'nt get any cups. I don,t like admitting to it but we stole some cups from a neighbours table. We just had to have our tea.Otherwise it was a nice breakfast with a nice view of the waking city.

Good Location, Close to the city centre. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choices. Reception staff were not very helpful. I enquired about booking a tour in Old Trafford but was advised that they did not have internet access to book this. I then asked for the number to call Old trafford and was advise they did not have this either.I was given no alternatives to help me with this booking. If would be of great assistance if there were some leaflets avaible regarding tourists attractions in the city.If this is not the case your staff should be aware of these attractions and be in a position to assist your customers.I went to Old Trafford myself which took up an hour and a half of my day to find out that there was no tours available. This was not a good customer experience.

At the Ramada I stayed for a whole week, it is more than good, the location couldn't be better as it is very central. It is in fact close to Piccadilly gardens the heart of Manchester from where you can get the Metro and explore many different places like Salford quays. The hotel is also very close to the train station which is very important as well. From there we visit Chester and York. The cleanliness is up to standard and the breakfast is superb. We opt to extend the time to departure and the rates are very good. Believe me the lifts there do work! imagine we were in the 14th. floor.

Location for shopping nightlife and a ten minute tram ride to old trafford for the price paid the room was tiny and dissapointing. The lifts were a ruddy disgrace!

Location Concerns the swipe card/key cards do not work very well. On the first day of stay had great difficulty accessing room twice and had to call receptionist up. Excuse given about the proximity of card to wallet or credit cards in pocket is nonsense. Never had this difficulty anywhere else. Wrongly debited for breakfast I didn't order and made it perfectly clear I wouldn't be having in the first place noisy neighbours at 4 pm at which point nothing like prompt response from reception

THe hotel facilitated me with an early check as I arrived in Manchester that morning. Room was available to me before 10.30am Lack of staff in bar for lunch/drink which caused some delay but staff were apologetic.

Good Central location Tried to book parking and was told that parking could not be reserved, yet when I arrived 5 spaces were reserved with plenty of other reserved signs laying about. When I asked about this I was told that these were for disabled visitors, this was total bull. None of the cars in the reserved spaces had disabled badges. The bathroom had hairs all over it and we had to clean it before using. Breakfasts were not well organised, things never arrived without lots of prompting, breakfast items were not topped up and both days had to stand about waiting for buffet to be replenished.

Room was functional - this worked practically for the trip and the best part by a mile was the location and proximity to town and local shops and restaurants. The price was my main issue, as I felt £80 was higher than the type of room demanded but I assume this is due to the location.

Friendly staff. I left my phone behind and both housekeeping and reception were very easy to deal with and organised to have it posted home to me. Not enough pillows. (only 2 in room) They didn't replenish the extra set of towels on our second night.

The hotel has a great interior and is really clean and welcoming. It is right in the middle of the city so is great for visiting any of the main attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fab! The only thing we really didn't like was that the bed was a bit small, so it was a bit of an uncomfortable nights sleep.

I liked the location, the view from our room, the smell of the hotel when you walked in the front door. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had requested a room away from the lifts, but was given one close to the lifts and could here the lifts frequently. The noise from other rooms could be heard easily.

Reception staff courteous and friendly. In fact all the staff we encountered were polite. Food in the bar was ok.Room was clean. The walls were extremely thin. We could hear everything in the room next door. Luckily the guests next door were not noisy! It took a long time to be served at the bar-more staff needed. Bathroom was ok but had a musty smell and the decor was a little tired.Lock on the bathroom door had a screw missing from it.Double glazing not very effective as we could hear the street noise and we were 7 floors up!
