Everything! Location was great, room was superb!
Spacious & comfy room Centre location of everywhere Good breakfast
Lack of coffee powder Lack of milk pods Furnitures not very child friendly with lots of pointy corners Coffee machine- water jug smelt badly.
Room too small
Perfect location for shopping and close to good restaurants. Service minded staff who immediately gave me a softer pillow when I asked for it.
Inefficient processes for check in, check out, getting breakfast and slow elevators. Hard beds and pillows.
A small room with basics. Overpriced yet no different to a room at a travel lodge
Location and views.very friendly staff excellent food and service
Perhaps a bit expensive as breakfast was extra
Just its location..
location, staff very helpful and friendly. Food in banqueting hall very good for a function of 200 people,
not enough lifts
Breakfast was excellent
Location & friendly staff. Good breakfast options
Small room & dated bathroom
The giant bed.
The toilet paper
3rd or 4th time for my partner and I, and we're back on 12th Dec, for another 3 nites, we always take a privelage suite for space and comfort. The whole hotel is spacious light and clean, location is amazing and all staff very helpfull, can't wait to get back,
Not much to not like, but the WiFi is very hit n miss, we had breakfast delivered it was a tad dried up, and missing beans, but it beats standing in the que to get seated in the breakfast room, but that's it,
Ideally situated fo the city centre Great breakfast Friendly staff
Plus points : very clean very comfortable very central weekday staff excellent.
Breakfast staff on weekend. Waited 10 mins to be seated as the slowest waitress dressed the tables. When we were seated the waiter brought tea /coffee and toast, asked two different waitresses 3 times for milk and butter and finally got some when everything was cold. Spoke to other people who were waiting for hot food to be replenished and they experienced the same thing. Monday however was fabulous, couldn't fault it.
The room was fab;)
Waiting in a queue to check in:(
... but hardly a 4 star
Great location with in walking distance of most things
One Lift not working all weekend when pointing this out to reception we were told the back lifts had been opened up to quests but no sign to show you where they were
The location and the view from our 14th floor room of the "gardens" The restaurant was pleasant, and also had good views
The room was quite small compared to other mercure rooms. The windows need upgrading - it was drafty except when the curtains were closed - a double room but only one vaguely comfy chair to sit on
Was very disappointed with the room. It was very basic for the cost.
Location is the only advantage
Nothing is like the photos online.. Poor hotel quality very small rooms (they look specious online) with unfriendly staff had to wait 2 hours to check in and more than half an hour just to collect my bags from concierge as no one was there and only 1 receptionist that kept me waiting till she finished what she has to do to come and do the concierge's job!! Old facilities and furnishings
I liked how close it was to everything. Very central and easy to get to.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, the bed sheets wernt changed after 2 nights only turned over to hide any marks on the duvet. Hotel room was a lot smaller than the pictures and the windows were very jail cell like. The room smelled quite fousty like a caravan. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and there was a few cracked tiles on the wall. We were in the room right next to the lift so got woke up with the maids around half 7 in the morning. Wasn't atall what I expected for a 4 star hotel.
Check in staff- made what should be a simple process very tortuous, and then issued a duplicate set of our room keys to someone else. Lifts- totally inadequate Bathroom in need of refurbishing
Breakfast was not good for £13.95.
Check in queue waited 10 mins Lifts so slow takes ages to go up or down . Room cold Bed the worst I've ever tried to sleep in
