1) Location is unbeatable. 2) Fast Check in, express checkout. 3) clean room and fair for short trip. 4) value of money depends on room size and date of booking, the earliest the cheapest.
1) TV is old. 2) No enough towels. 3) room design is very normal.
Right in the City centre Fast WiFi Tourist information centre based at the entrance
No iron & ironing board Tried to reach the reception 3 times, no answer, no call back Food in the bar expensive for what you get
Good location lovely suite with fantastic view of manchester
The lifts where a nightmare . we where waiting over 20 minutes for a lift from the top floor on 2 occasions. There are no clear signs for the stairs.
The location was excellent, robes & slippers we're supplied.
Reception staff are rude. You can't check in before 2pm..NO Exceptions! We were going to Man United game at 3pm & wanted to freshen up before the game so missed kick off. Requested room with view which didn't happen. €345 for 2nyts with no breakfast £18.95 each + £5svs charge for breakfast to room. Absolute robbery. No value whatsoever in this hotel. No pool or gym. Id advise only to stay here for location & if you have a lot of cash to throw away on nothing.
It was the most convenient hotel I have been to during my stay in Manchester. All were perfect, the room, the staff, the restaurant and the location. We really enjoyed our stay.
The only issue is lack of a swimming pool facility.
The heater system was broken down in my room Also there Are a fake alarm in hotel @ 4 am
Shabby ground floor entrance. Burst water pipe evacuation in middle of night - staff disorganised & not particularly apologetic. No recompense offered to offset inconvenience
good location. easy spotted.
Staff chatting outside our room early morning.
Very friendly and helpful staff . Rooms are a reasonable size and clean and comfortable. Perfect for short stays.
The most friendliest reception staff ever, most helpful and gave great tips on things to do, see, where to eat and more importantly where to party! Next time I'll be asking them to join us :)
Perfect central location. Clean, good facilities. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.
Not enough tea, coffee and milk in the room.
Location and the staff were superb
Staff dealt very well with a problem with our room door and were quick to respond
Great bar and lovely breakfast
Rooms very warm no breeze from windows
The movies in the room, although there could have been a lot more in terms of selection
Our room key didn't work on going back to our room. One of the chamber maids, who we later found out, was new to the job, helped us with our door. The manager in charge proceeded to reprimand her in front of us, we thought this was very unprofessional of her.
check in staff very root rude , House keeping not tidying the room
excellent hotel and location. I felt very secure and the room was serviced every day to a high standard. Not too noisy and no loud yobs.
wifi is slight hit and miss
No mirror near hairdryer socket or dressing table
Efficiency and helpfulness of the staff Excellent bar and facilities Close to shopping area
no access to wifi in our room nothing noted on wifi connection codes no sockets near to head of bed - my partner uses a medical sleeping device and we could not plug it in and had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed.
From the moment we arrived in Manchester, within 10 minutes of getting off the train at Picadilly we had walked to the hotel and Chris on the front desk was checking us into our room. He was brilliant- very polite, chatty and helpful! He even made sure our friends checking in under a different booking were put next door to us!! Hotel was very clean, and our room had a lovely big window overlooking Manchester! Free wifi allowed us to have our music on and have a brilliant time getting ready before going out to meet out friends. We could even walk to the hotel at the end of the night... Took 5 minutes!! Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed one night at about £33 pp!! Fab! X
I had booked a twin room and our twin beds were pushed right next to each other like a double. It was fine for us as we are good friends but could have been a bit awkward for people who would prefer a bed to themselves.
no facilities, no pool , gym , steam sauna , .
Location and clean and well furnished rooms The cleaning staff were very courteous and friendly.
The fact that there was no reception at street level leaving the hotel open to everybody. The pillows were too firm. Breakfast was overpriced for hotel guest
Very nice clean and good staff food good will stay again
Breakfast disappointing. Also no mini bar in room
Been before was amazing..
Paid for privilege package.. WiFi very poor.. TV picture poor.. No access to free movie.. Glasses and cups were dirty
Good food in the restaurant
The rooms are looking ready for refurbishment. The restaurant was very inflexible on the menu choises
