Pleasant modern room -seemed recently decorated and styled. Comfortable .Everything I needed. Very clean. Staff very helpful and welcoming. No window direct to outside-glass partition to bathroom and window through there. Second floor no lift. The food I had in restaurant in evening was poor.

Rooms clean, comfortable and freshly decorated. Hotel and pub all in good condition. Barman on duty Monday night was polite and helpful, and had supplies to help my colleague who had forgotten his wash bag. . Staff at breakfast were sullen. Whilst checking out, the lady who was doing this took 3-4 minutes to acknowledge I was there then only spoke to give me my bill. Tip always polite to let the customer see a copy of the bill before placing it in a sealed enverlop.

A well managed hotel with good facilities and conveniently situated. It appears the hotel bedrooms have undergone recent modernisation: my room was well appointed. I will definately stay here again and would recommend it as an ideal place to stay.

Good sized and clean room ( shame there was no window ) reasonably priced food. Easy access to most places. Only picky problem was that there is Sky sports on in bar and breakfast area all the time.

We stayed here overnight during our cycle tour around the perimeter of Cumbria. Great welcome from the staff who stored our bicycles in a secure room overnight. Very clean comfortable newly-refurbished room. Not much of a view over a car park, but as we had asked for a 'quiet' room - no complaints. Efficient service for breakfast with freshly cooked items. Well situated for the town centre with an excellent Italian restaurant nearby ( Francesca's) recommended by the receptionistf. Good value in Barrow.

The staff was fantastic. The central location in Barrow was ideal for evening walks. Great pub...good food & drink. Plenty of it too. The Breakfast in the morning had a large selection and was very good. High quality food. The accomodations were great too. Rooms were not cramped and were very clean. It's a little difficult getting up to some of the rooms on the upper floors with luggage. No lift to get you to the upper floors. Small price to pay though for an otherwise fantastic experience.

Staff were very helpful and accomodating - food was excellent and plenty of it - chambermaids were very efficient and pleasant a good central location for visiting Barrow in Furness. Parking was not a problem as the refundable £40 pass took away the hassle. However the seagulls bombarded the motor over the weekend. All in all delighted with the hotel A jobs worth traffic warden lectured me while trying to pick up my bags outside hotel so just be careful when dropping off or picking up in front of the hotel.

The staff were lovely, couldnt do enough for you. The quality of food was great and a good variety at breakfast time as well. Yates across the road, I stayed 2 nights while visiting my Head Offce (Fishers) and wednesday night great, Thursday night was unbearable, loud thumpoing music till past 1am . I ended up calling reception and com, plaining around midnight, then eventually was moved rooms around 1am. This not great when I am up at 6am fior work and then having a 5 hour drive home back to Scotland. I was disapointted as they did indeed cloud my judgement on using Jeffersons again as i am back in Barrow on Thursday 7th June nd dont know whether to risk staying on a Thursday again.
