we liked the welcome when we arrives,the staff were very good and friendly,and the hotel is spotless,the food was excellent,and the prices were reasonable. we were on the top floor,and found the climb a little offputting, |

Rooms were very comfortable. Staff were okay. Had dinner in the hotel twice. First time acceptable. Second time a disaster. It took over 40 minutes for our order to be taken. When the meal arrived it was so bad it had to be sent back. Alternatives were offered and not charged for. The quality of the cooking on that particular night 22.09.09 was abysmal and obviously prepared by a third rate chef. |

Het hotel staat op een zeer mooie plek, personeel doet erg hun best. Het eten is erg goed en uitgebreid. Staat van onderhoud van de kamer kan beter, de vloer kraakte verschrikkelijk, vooral bij de deur naar de badkamer en in de badkamer. Het afvoerputje van de wasbak was verroest en zeer aan vervanging toe evenals het badscherm dat aan de onderkant verroest was. Het bed was prima. Het rooster van het raam aan de bovenkant was met een plastic tasje opgevuld (voor de tocht ? ) |

Hotel calme et confort correct L'hotel est un peu excentre. Le personnel peu acceuillant, mais c'est assez general sur l'ile (encore des insulaires qui veulent bien l'argent des touristes, mais sans les touristes!). La decoration est tres "english furniture" Le rapport qualité/prix tres moyen |

Calme,accueil,restauration variée,fraiche présentation soignée.Beauté des paysages,vue extraordinaire, itinéraire de promenades à proximité.Magnifique vue sur la mer et les iles proches et l'agréable piscine. |

Ideale ligging voor wat betreft de wandelingen langs de klifs. Schitterend zicht vanop de klifs op Herm, Sark (en Jersey). Onze kamer (naam = Jaonette) was ruim, comfortabel en proper met zicht op het buiten zwembad en de zee. Avondeten (a la carte) prijs/kwaliteit was heel goed. Lijnbus heeft halte t.h.v. hotel. Het ontbijt was sober (geen buffetvorm). Bestelling ontbijt (Scottisch breakfast, continentaal ontbijt, kaas/vleesschotel, ...) werd door personeel opgenomen aan tafel. |

Ontvangst was gastvrij, zo ook al het personeel. Kamer was erg goed. Door een gelukje hadden we de suite in plaats van een luxe kamer. Ontbijt en diner waren prima. Ruime keuze uit een heerlijk gevarieerd menu. Ook veel tips over het eiland gehad: wat moet je gezien hebben? |
