Jesmond Dene House  

Block with the suite we stayed in had views of bins and car park, probably overpriced for what they were, also a little dirty in the room and laundry lying around as we came in, tho none of these things hurt our stay

Liked the excellent service, the location at the head of the Dene but above all the variety and quality of the food.

That this was our fourth stay indicates our total satisfaction.

The ambiance of the hotel, a feeling of real comfort, supported by excellent staff who went out of their way to be welcoming and attentive

It was simply brilliant, from the moment you walked through the door you felt you were being looked after and that feeling remained for the two nights we were there, nothing was too much trouble. It's warm welcoming and comfortable with a lovely placid feel and the food is fabulous, the seaweed butter is a revelation. We can't wait to go back

Convenient location for Newcastle and surrounding area. Very beautifully designed rooms (tho ours was a touch too small for two people!) Excellent staff who made you feel important to them and welcome. Scrummy food!

Just the size of our room for the price. (Room 19). We saw other rooms which were bigger. Think we just drew the short straw because every other room related issue was first class!

This hotel was everything in look and feel that we were hoping for. The delux room was excellent and the staff helpful and happy.

Fresh complimentary fruit in the room upon arrival, lovely touch!

Vi blev mycket väl mottagna och trots att vårt rum inte var färdigt, hjälpte de oss att ordna så vi kunde fräsha upp oss och sen tog de bagaget till vårt rum, i vår frånvaro. Service perfekt och mycket god mat i restaurangen. Frukosten var också bra på alla sätt. Trevliga lounger och almänn stämning.

Rummet var trångt. Badrummet stort men badkar/dusch var svåra att ta sig in och ur. Enormt kliv!

The room (no 32): large, fresh fruit, beautiful bathroom, comfortable bed

my room was too hot but there was no way to turn down the heating. It was a very windy night so I didn;t want to sleep with the windows open. I think turn the heating down a bit.

Room badly organised, too dark and with inadequate seating and lighting Restaurant made a major error on dinner reservation and while ultimately trying to do something were very reluctant to admit there was a problem, and one for which they were responsible
