Very helpful night manager helped me secure my motorcycle for the night.

Polite, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. The food in the restaurant looked delicious. We would have sampled it if we had been staying another night. Easy walking distance to city centre.

Room rather small and very hot. No bedside lamp.

Simplistic breakfast for an extra charge, poorly maintained rooms and facilities, bed linen not perfectly clean.

Close to the freeman hospital were I am a patient .

Put in the room right at the top of the hotel not good for someone waiting for a lung transplant. Also no wifi up there so couldn't FaceTime my kids back home.

Breakfast was nicely presented and staff who served it were very friendly. Free wi fi was appreciated.

We had a ground floor bedroom. There was a very bright orange street light outside our window. Even with our blinds tightly closed, it was like trying to sleep with the light on.The staff need to put up a black out blind or curtains in this room.

Close to the city but in a leafy suburb, A Persian restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Nice reception area with TV/magazines/tourist info and comfy seating. Room has everything you need.

My colleague thought the single rooms were small but I think they are an average size.

Clean, tidy, comfortable, great location with easy access to local shops and city centre. Ticked all the boxes for the 4 of us who had come up to watch NUFC play footie. No fussing around and the best hotel I'd stayed in in Jesmond over the years - with very reasonable pricing. We will be back! My son hadn't been to the city before, and we had just an amazing time. Thank you!

Very short delay on getting to room after scheduled 1400h arrival time. Reception sorted us out a hot drink, and the 2 chambermaid ladies helped me when I was fussing around looking through my pockets for my access key.Minimal aggravation, sorted by staff with a smile.

Hotel staff were always very friendly, offering extra advice on the local train/metro/bus services. They were chatty and pointed out a couple of places which were worth visiting. For example the Metro shopping center, angle of the north and which beaches were worth the travel. Very accommodating and relaxed atmosphere.

Room looked slightly worn, small tear in wall paper at suitcase height. Bathroom not modern in decor but fully functional.

Breakfast very good, and staff at breakfast very efficient.

No parking permit available on arrival. Room 37 - so noisy at night I did not sleep much, sounded like we were next to a lift shaft but not as there is no lift. Small rooms.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. My room although on the small side(single) was very comfortable. Lovely and warm good en suite and the bed was so cosy I did'nt want to get up in the morning.
