We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the guest house, the staff and proprietor were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, plenty of it. The only disadvantage was paying for parking, although they did provide us with a long stay ticket for a lower fee than you would have had to pay in the normal way. |

Excellent location - close to the harbor where thyere is a lot going on. I am fairly fussy about egg preperation and their English breakfast waqs fantastic as a result. I told the staff so they knew. We chose based upon rate/location but this is a special property with its decore , furnishings etc. |

The Jewells Hotel was a revelation. The greeting was warm the room very large with every facility normally offered but rarely found in one location. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked. The attitude of the owners was helpful and courteous in every respect - they could not have been more so. No parking - but as this problem afflicts all the hotels in Citadel Road - live with it - it will be worth it. |

Good, clean and friendly hotel. Very pleased and more than adequate for us and our 15 month old child. The shared bathroom and toilet facilities were a little bit of a surprise to our friend who stayed in a single room. |

The hosts could not have been more welcoming or accomodating when we had to revise our schedule. The breakfast was worth the cost of the stay. |

The hotel was central and within easy reach of excellent shopping, cinema, theatre and acquarium. Underneath the beds had not been vaccumed for some time!! Otherwise, spotless. |

Friendly welcome, clean well presented hotel and room. Some nice homely touches in a modern, but classically decorated hotel. Would certainly stay here in preference to the large chains. |

The only comment I would make is that there was little choice when it came to the cooked breakfast - there was no selection - just one standard breakfast, for the money I paid I expected there to be a breakfast menu No , it was excellent |

the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The lady who served us was very friendly and provided great service. The colour scheme and decor of the room was lovely. there was access to cable TV in the room which was good. The glasses in the bathroom both had toothpaste around the top of them.which instantly put me off! Although we had a family room , for 3 of us, there was insufficient supplies of glasses (2), towels (2 bath towels, hand towels and flannels, 5 small portions of milk with the tea/ coffee makiing facilities, The tea and coffee for the room was not individually wrapped but in canisters, having found... |
