Friendly staff. Nice big room with decent ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean and well-presented. Good location for visiting Plymouth. Room was advertised as a double, but was actually 2 single beds pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable. |

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. And the most we liked is a location of the hotel. Just 2 min walk and you are on the shoreside, 5 min to reach the old town or shopping areas. Just amazing when you are shot of time but want to see everything. |

Visited historical sites and toured the city, on foot. In addition did some shopping. My wife didn't like the dark coloured curtains and lack of a proper wardrobe. |

The accomodation was fresh and clean. We stayed for two nights and the room was cleaned, the bed made, and the towels were changed. Excellent. Nothing. It is an excellent guest house in a prime location. |

The location of the hotel was excellent and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly No en-suite which wasnt made clear when i booked. The toilet and shower i was to use was on a different floor to my room. I stayed for two nights and didnt get a change of towels, considering they were damp in the evening after using them in the morning. Parking at this hotel and all others in this street is an absolute nightmare after seven o'clock. |

We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the guest house, the staff and proprietor were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, plenty of it. The only disadvantage was paying for parking, although they did provide us with a long stay ticket for a lower fee than you would have had to pay in the normal way. |

Excellent location - close to the harbor where thyere is a lot going on. I am fairly fussy about egg preperation and their English breakfast waqs fantastic as a result. I told the staff so they knew. We chose based upon rate/location but this is a special property with its decore , furnishings etc. |

The Jewells Hotel was a revelation. The greeting was warm the room very large with every facility normally offered but rarely found in one location. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully cooked. The attitude of the owners was helpful and courteous in every respect - they could not have been more so. No parking - but as this problem afflicts all the hotels in Citadel Road - live with it - it will be worth it. |
