Score from 182 reviews Very good
Great place to stay to explore the city of Cambridge, really good accommodation attached to a county pub that serves quality food with a great atmosphere
Staff friendliness and the quality of the food (dinner and breakfast)
Nothing to comment on
The charm and history of the place. The Hotel attracts a small bunch of locals in the afternoon to add to the atmosphere. Rooms are great, meals great, staff too. Recommended.
WiFi patchy but free when it was there.
All the different beers and dinner was very good with great service
Friendly staff Good food.
Don't serve breakfast until 9am
Overpriced and far out of town.
we had a very pleasant stay at Jolly Brewers. Friendly staff and excellent food in the pub.
Pub was small and cozy - nice Great people Room was fine Other pubs close by - easy stroll to enjoy another pint
Weather - it was raining
The location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort.
Only grumble would be that we struggled to find someone to take our money so we could check out. Had to get one of the kitchen staff to take it. Other than that, all fine.
Clean and quiet bedroom and a superb restaurant with great menu. A good choice of ales is always a bargain.
Nothing to report.
Rooms we're clean, spacious and had great facilities. We were greeted on arrival, very friendly. Would highly recommend ! Would also recommend eating in the Jolly Brewer, all home made food fresh and great value for money.
Bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom/shower. Rooms are remote to the pub hence are quiet Food is very good
Could not get the shower temperature right, was too cold at first then too hot at end. My pint of the local Milton beer was well past it's best. The Theakston by comparison was superb.
Good sized rooms Good facilities Close to local amenities Nice friendly atmosphere in the pub Friendly and helpful staff
We liked everything about the Jolly Brewers - the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the location was quiet and an easy bus ride from Cambridge.
Rooms could have been a little bigger notch room to put clothing and bags.
Friendly, Helpful hosts. Great food.
They were friendly enough and had everything needed
The room was very warm to sleep in with the lack of windows
The room was very clean and well equipped. Food was good.
No-one around when we wanted to check out at 9.30 am. I know they can take the payment on the card anyway but it's nice to know how much the bill is and to have a receipt. If no full English breakfast ordered then there is no breakfast at all!
Clean, quiet, comfortable, helpful staff.
Mediocre food. Too far from city centre.
The Jolly Brewers is a short bus trip from Cambridge city centre. The bus stop is just around the corner from the pub and it is inexpensive. The rooms at the pub are very nicely renovated, equipped and furnished - it was formerly a barn. Lots of character. The pub itself was really nice as well - good pub food and a welcoming atmosphere.
The village bike was particularly delicious and with full body of ample proportions.
Room was very comfortable
Very clean and a good location
WiFi was suspect
Very clean and welcoming.
