Lovely suite. The staff were helpful, and tried to put things right.

Heating wasn't working, the lovely bathroom hadn't been cleaned.

Perfect location in Cardiff, with the beautiful Bute Park and Cardiff Castle right behind the hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful, they didn't just give us our room key, they assisted us to our room, opening the door for us too. Huge bathroom which was spotless, bed was comfy too!

Cannot fault this hotel at all, only minor thing was the parking spaces are limited. Don't be put off though if you can't book a parking space, as there is parking in Bute Park behind, and you can go in the back entrance to the hotel from there.

It was all beautiful,loved every minute of our time there and would have loved to stay another night.

The fact the bed was so comfortable we slept late and missed breakfast, it was served a little early for our liking would have liked it in bed then everything would have been perfect :)

The sumptuous furniture, friendly staff and close location to the city centre It was ideal

Super hotel with friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to help you and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is right in the centre of the town and this makes it perfect for short city trips as you can wander in for shopping, sightseeing and food then go back easily and relax!

Perfectly clean and modern throughout. Room was well decorated. 24 hour reception. Free car parking.

The reception was verz small. They supported with the flight check-in (very nice), but only same day of departure (instead of day before). So when we finally did it we only find two sits not close to each other. Maybe in a 4 stars hotel, reception should always support you with this easy service ?

Very friendly staff. Warm welcome remembered who we were. Very comfortable bed, great bathroom.

The staff were really friendly and efficient. Our room was tastefully decorated with a huge bed and lovely bathroom. It was a lovely place to retreat to after a long day shopping!

Warm and comfortable, easy walking distance of the city.

Aylesbury room should perhaps be re-designed to have the bed where the settee is and vice versa. This would make the toilet facility more private and away from the bed area. Also the mirror in the bathroom needs a light to light the face, at the moment ones face is always in darkness, not good for shaving, make up etc.

Most comfy bed i've ever slept on.

Not getting the room I had booked, with no explanation from hotel/staff! Very poor show!

Very well situated for access to town centre, room well equipped & spotless, good value for money, good food, staff friendly and helpful.

Check out was a bit problematic as I left very early and the night porter could not find the restaurant bill.

All the staff seem very happy in their work and that comes across strongly. It is our second time the first was other place down by the harbour, and both experiences have been great, so much so we have booked again for the 23rd July for the Bruce Springsteen concert. It just feels relaxed and homely. Cheers for a great time.

Very friendly place with great atmosphere. the pub was great and with interesting cocktails (welsh garden e.g). the bed was great

The bathroom looked good, but not all that practical. We took showers and water was all over the floor, because the glassthing to prevent thaat, was not placed right, and wasn't quite sufficient anaway. the drain didn't work properly.

Very comfortable stylish rooms, breakfast was lovely too!

The only thing I'd change would be that you could turn the blue lights off in the bathroom as they did disturb my sleep a little.

Loved this place, can't fault it. You are within 5 minute walk of the shops and Millenium stadium. And 15 minute walk from Cardiff City stadium. Can't comment on breakfast as we never made it, but the evening meal we had in the bar was first class. Check-inn in 3pm, but the staff managed to get us in to room early for shower as we had an afernoon appointment. Was very much appreciated. Room was lovely, thanks Kevin and the guys. We will be back the next time in Cardiff. Even if it is just for a drink or some food. cheers.

Comfortable room; lovely bathroom.

Arrived just after 9.30pm due to train timetable & no food available. They said food stopped at 9.30. Same happened in N Cyprus in July; got in at 11.30pm & chef had just gone home but they sent out for a takeaway for us. Brilliant service. Not clear on booking whether we had breakfast or not, so didn't.

The staff were very friendly and most helpful. Food was excellent.

No power point near a mirror for hair dryer and also no stand to put suitcases on.
