The fan was a real life saver in our hot room.

The price and the guests hanging around outside the front door being loud. It unfortunately doesn't reflect well on the hostel. Also guests didn't wash their dishes. I washed a full sink full. Very little to no cutlery available.

    - Good location. - A supermarket at the street corner. - Nice staff.

    - Very small, uncomfortable, and dirty bed. Even impossible to sit at the bed side. The curtain is not clean and impossible to cover the whole bed. - Very small room and no spaces to open lugguages. Do not choose here if you have big lugguages. - Old building without life and only have narrow stairs. - Very small and dirty bath. For female bath, there is no private for dress-up. You can only come out nakely to grab your towel, or take your towel into the bath with the chance of getting it all wet. The unisex bath is a bit better if you dont mind.. - The shower is soooo hot, and u have to keep pushing the button. - The hair dryer in the unisex bath does not work. - The room's door lock is broken. - The info to different airport is not updated. - The breakfast is simple. The dishes and cups are not cleaned. - I have stayed in other hostel but this one is bad. Pay a little bit more and you can get much better hostels.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can get help from the any time asked. The reception is open 24/7 which is great in case you need something.

The bed is very low, you have something like less than a meter between a mattress and a bed above you which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Have to pay for everything just as elsewhere in London...

Good location. Nice big window in the room and a fan.

The beds are ridiculous, uncomfortable and very noisy. Showers are a dribble and not very clean. The whole place is pretty noisy, you can hear people stomping up the stairs as well as the doors slamming open and closed from the bedrooms.

Location was near Kings Cross which was important to us. The buildings history was unique and interesting. Breakfast was nice, didn't need to do own dishes.

Set up of beds in 10 bed room was a little to close for comfort. It was hot and muggy and room windows needed to be open + ground floor room = noisy. It was very busy when I checked in and staff were not very accomodating to a traveler who's travel agent made a mistake. There was a bag in the bed I was assigned, staff gave new sheets but I did not like having to make my own bed. The 2 other hostels I stayed in had made beds.

Quite cheap At least sheets were clean And the location at Kings cross is great

The common bathrooms and showers should be much cleaner and better equipped. Especially the floors were beyond dirty. And if the staff comes in the room to change the sheets and keep the fresh ones on the dirty floor while changing them its NOT a very comforting feeling!!! The size of the rooms in which they cram those 3 storey bunk beds is more than tiny. One could barely move within the room, let alone put your bag somewhere. I was only in a 6 people room. Being in one with 16 must be hell. The breakfast they announce is more of a joke with toast some jam and soluble coffee. For very cheap stay for one or 2 nights barely acceptable.

    Location, friendliness of staff, kitchen.

Tiny room. Just a bed and 4 walls. Tiny shared bathrooms not enough space to use it.

    good staff

I'm a woman in her mid 40's and there were no places to dress and undress in private Showers could do with an overhall and the building was hard to find and not disabled friendly

Fresh toast, nice staff, but that's about it.

It was so dirty. The showers were clogged with hair and the walls were slimy. The bathroom (unisex, by the way) was in the basement and has never seen the light of day. There were horrible mouldy wooden slats placed in the shower which tempted me to shower with my shoes on. The sinks were constanly clogged with translucent, hairy grey goo. It was like the yeti had been shedding in the bathrooms. I did not want to touch anything. Just the thought of the place gives me shivers. Will not go back.

We were leaving from St. Pancras so location was good. Basic accommodation but we just needed a bed so all was good.

Location - if it is important to you to be close to one of the train stations in the area (as it was for us) The beds were actually relatively comfortable considering how small and cramped they were. This place is ok, but they could really fix it up a bit and sort out the showers. I would however probably have picked a different hostel in the area if anything else would have been available (the yha looked pretty nice, at least from the outside).

Showers - you can barely call it a shower, it is more like standing under a tap trying to mover around to actually get wet. You sort of get clean, but is this really not something that could be fixed? It would have been nice with a chair/stool or two in the room, and maybe a bin.

When I complained about security they got eh police in straight away and I think that did some good. I didn't like the staff at first but they're OK. There is one mega-cute girl from the Czech Republic working at reception.

sometimes rooms like the bathrooms and showers are closed for maintenance but it's not a huge problem they have a lot of toilets and showers so you never go without.

Code entry to the rooms and 24 hour reception.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels all over the world and this has to be the worst. It smelt awful, the bunk beds were crammed into the rooms, 3 tiers high and there was no room to move. The bathrooms were not sufficient for the number of people staying in the hostel and I had to wait in a line to take a shower, which was stone cold. Altogether an awful place.
