I was upgraded without having to pay extra money, friendly and helping staff
Kitchen smelly and sticky; very loud and squeaky beds; only one toilet on the floor
People were friendly although we were older.
Cooking facilities not extensive!
fellow travellers were friendly
very noisy and stressy
the socket is not working.
Cool facilities; luggages storage, breakfast, common place, location in the city
The hostel is basically really compact, hard to manipulate luggages in (big luggages).
Excellent location, friendly staff, comfy bed, and bathrooms are also okay.
More thorough mopping would have been necessary in our room before we arrived. Luggage room smelled rather unpleasant.
I have been to a few hostels around the world. And this lne wasn't the best nor the worst. It simply was OK. Would recommend it for a short stay as the location is great and the value for money is good.
However for a longer stay I would think twice before booking for more than 3 nights. Also I stayed there during new year so this might be influencing my opinion about the noise and tiredness of the staff.
It was easy to get to the tube and go anywhere There was a good selection of pubs, restaurants, food stores and coffeshops around It was pretty clean Free breakfast
Good price and location
It felt quite claustrophobic.
Cleanliness is much better than I thought. Room size is just right.
There's no socket nearby. Which I can't charge my phone when I lying on bed.
All I could want from a hostel really and great atmosphere too.
The staff is really friendly and effective.
The facilities are bad, the rooms are too small, the toilets and showers are dirty, the stairs are too small to carry the bags through.
Really near to Kings Cross and St. Pancras.
The space between two bed is really short you can't even seat, also wide open window in shower room gives you good shock when you go out of shower and is about 5 degrees in room.
It is really easy to reach, because its really near from King's Cross Station
The rooms are extemely small
Tiny cramped dorms, beds were like sleeping on rocks, luggage had to be stored in a different room as the dorms can't fit luggage and people. Toilets broken, no heating in rooms overall terrible
Really near to Kings Cross
The location is good, near king's cross station where I can travel around easily
The hostel allowed late check-in which I don't like as there is a guest check in around 2-3 AM and she turned on the lights till morning and she was WORKING in her bed with continuously keybord typing noise which annoying enough. Me myself and another girl were not able to sleep since she check in until morning breakfast time. No Late Check In Allow Please. It's annoying to those who's sleeping.
Very near Kings Cross station, 8mins walk. There's Tesco just around the corner and they have a kitchen where you can cook in, best for those on tight budget. Many different international people comes and go, easy to mingle around and make friends. Ideal for budget travellers.
If you're staying for a few nights, don't expect your bedsheets to be changed during the day. But they do make the bed before you arrive. Sometime they may give you the wrong bed where someone else has already slept on, go to the reception and tell them that the bed wasn't being made.
Very easy to find, a comfy bed for the night, friendly staff, any-time check in (great for late arrivals). As long as you know what to expect from a backpacker's hostel you will not be disappointed.
Single glazing so quite a bit of street noise.
The location, about a 10 minute walk from King's Cross was excellent. It was also easy to find. Also couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. Considering it was a Friday night there wasn't much (if any) in-house noise which was a pleasant surprise. It was also down to luck but made a big difference that the two girls I shared with were lovely and I felt safe staying in a three bedroom female dorm.
The room's were tiny and overcrowded with luggage occupying any available floor space. On first appearance the triple bunks look ridiculous. As I was on the middle bunk I was a bit apprehensive as I couldn't even sit up in the available space, but that said, once up there I was quite cosy and slept well. Due to the lack of space in the room I slept with my satchel at the end of the bed and had my own plug socket which was a welcome addition meaning I could charge my phone whilst having it next to me. I should add that the building itself is quite disorientating with lots of different doors and directions but you can always ask for help or take your time finding things. Also the showers were a bit awkward as nowhere to put your clothes or get changed after showering unless you're happy to get naked in front of everyone, although I expect this is normal of most budget hostels.
Its a good hostel with a good localization, kind and Nice Staff and good breakfast
The bedroom and the bed are super bad! Its a small bedroom for too much people, and the beds are super small. I ccouldnt seat in my bed because there were no space for this. Its like a labirint too many doors and the bathrooms are super far.
staff is nice. very cheap and well worth it.
soft bed! Goooood! Good location
Too much loud
The staff is totally friendly and the guests tend to be friendly too. Feels like a comfortable house and the breakfast is actually nice. I totally recommend for the location too
Showers were not heating properly for a couple of days.
