Becarrefull with the rate, the try to get a lot of extra; This is the second time that I have stayed in this hotel and 2 times the charge extra (£79 each) When I get the bill they say always sorry sometings is wrong in the system.........But I don't like to discussed this everytime. If you like London and would love to stay in a luxery hotel it is better to take The Berkeley. If I stay in Dubai i always stay in the Jermeira and they are verry good but Londen it just like a 4 star business hotel but the charge for 5 !!!!!!

Good location only Everything was broken in the room, which faced the courtjard, not best views as promised for delux. Staff not reacting. Reservation team is struggling with customers by high prices and sold out methods. Strange hotel

The bar was impressive and modern. The location is good for Harrods etc. Gym was fairly decent. Quite run down and tired. Old fashioned and not the kind of luxury experience one would hope for from a Jumeirah hotel.

A well maintained hotel in the heart of the West End with exceedingly friendly and efficient staff. The entire hotel tv system was out for the duration of our stay.

The location is good. Too noisy in the rooms and staff not helpful. Also rooms are too small for that price.

Location, room and quality of food Unable to book either restaurant in the hotel for dinner even though I was a guest at the hotel with my family, as they were fully booked. Main lobby lounge and restaurant understaffed in the morning. 1 staff was serving only at 7.30 in the morning and we had to wait at least 15 mins before ordering. Breakfast only served 8 am onwards at the main restaurant on Sunday. Could not choose where to sit in an empty restaurant as the manager was objecting to tables chosen by us (table of 4 for 3 of us!)

I liked the ambience and the feeling of elegance. Staff were very friendly and helfpfull. The only negative thing was the poor quality of the hairdrier in the bathroom. It refused to stay on and was really quite ineffective.

The closeness of the location to Harrods and Harvey Nics and great designer shops. Good choice of newly released in room movies. Leisure club and gym good facilities. Very basic room not very clean either, does not merit 5 stars and we were staying in an executive Suite priced at over 1k. We had booked for two nights only stayed one , and moved to Claridges which is 5 star plus and perfection in everyway. The whole hotel not 5 stars as very tired decor, breakfast at £38 is pathetic. Beds and bedding no better than a premier Inn.Air conditioning in room was not working when we arrived yet they put us into the room knowing that. Concierge poor gave very flawed information twice that cost us considerable money and time to rectify. Management very poor as they don't deal with their Hotel problems efficiently also unless you come from certain Middle Eastern parts of the world.

Location is perfect. It's a kind of luxury hotel, but keep in mind that this is London and the standards are incomparably lower than in Europe. Rooms are big and clean. Welcome water is served every day. The staff at reception might be annoying. During the check-in they promised this and that, never did anything (no London map provided as asked, asked to provide frequent flyer number, but then said that Miles and more is not a partner program. After checking the hotel information, I came back and asked again and this finally worked. The wash basin did not work properly so that it was full of water every time we washed our hands. And the last- spa was really disappointing. Gym on the 8th floor is overlooking the executive floor, pool is on the 2nd floor and looks like it was built 20 years ago (really old styled). Not that the hotel is bad, but the expectations for a 5-star hotel are higher. Honestly, I would choose another 5-star hotel in the area.
