This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff made us so welcome and looked after. The junior suite was fantastic. I never wanted to leave.

Great location, luxury rooms and amenities, very courteous and helpful staff. We got upgraded to an executive suite (having booked a garden suite with a balcony). It turned out it was on the 3 floor and facing backwards (not the greenery of Cadogan square), but was big indeed and nicely done with design furniture 2 large flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee machine, shower, bathtub, bathrobes, slippers, high-end toiletries etc. Complimentary water (Hildon) during the whole stay especially appreciated. Food and extra services really on the expensive side; room-service food average. Small and weird flaws in room design despite recent refurbishment: 1) Door opening WITHOUT an actual door between the bathroom and the wardrobe area (which however has a door to the bedroom; nevertheless, using the bathroom was uncomfortable as there was always the feeling the door was opened -- one sees the wardrobe area through the door opening) 2) Bed/reading lights in the living room (where our children slept) cannot be left on without the ceiling lights being on too; the dimmer helped only partially -- it was either too dark (pitch dark) or relatively light in that room during the night.

A well maintained hotel in the heart of the West End with exceedingly friendly and efficient staff. The entire hotel tv system was out for the duration of our stay.

I liked the ambience and the feeling of elegance. Staff were very friendly and helfpfull. The only negative thing was the poor quality of the hairdrier in the bathroom. It refused to stay on and was really quite ineffective.

The closeness of the location to Harrods and Harvey Nics and great designer shops. Good choice of newly released in room movies. Leisure club and gym good facilities. Very basic room not very clean either,does not merit 5 stars and we were staying in an executive Suite priced at over 1k. We had booked for two nights only stayed one , and moved to Claridges which is 5 star plus and perfection in everyway. The whole hotel not 5 stars as very tired decor, breakfast at £38 is pathetic. Beds and bedding no better than a premier Inn.Air conditioning in room was not working when we arrived yet they put us into the room knowing that. Concierge poor gave very flawed information twice that cost us considerable money and time to rectify. Management very poor as they don't deal with their Hotel problems efficiently also unless you come from certain Middle Eastern parts of the world.
