-Friendly staff, willing to help when checking in and out -Breakfast offered a wide range - Rooms of a good size (even when its a double with single - it doesn't feel cramped) -Clean rooms and bathrooms -Nice tea facilities in the rooms -right in the heart of town so just walk out to the shops etc. - no car park and no help in where's best to park for the cheapest - Would have been nicer to have more staff present at breakfast for any little more help and also more coverings on bread/toast etc.

Basic clean central hotel. Hotel bar served us until nearly 2 in the morning and staff were very chatty and friendly Bar was a coffee shop during the day and lacked public house atmosphere. Restaurant looked more like a canteen although we did not have dinner there. Breakfast was not very tasty

I liked the value for money both in the cost of the room and the meals available. All staff were very courteous and helpful especially the reception staff and lady that worked in the bar. Compliments should be passed on to them for their friendliness and helpfulness The shower head being fixed. Would prefer shower head to be detachable. other than that all was very good

The price, the rooms, the staff, the location. The noise from ongoing roadworks right outside my window. Can't be helped but a heads up would have been nice.
