Location, staff, facilities were all good
The key card kept dropping it's codes, got to the room. Wouldn't work, had to go back to reception to get it rese, the vent in the bathroom was so noisy it kept me awake all night, these things should be on a run timer, not running 24/7 Mentioned it to staff on leaving, to be told it could have been turned off by maintenance. Pretty useless information when you're awake all night
room Bed Big TV in room free WIFI Lovely bathroom Quickly filling bath Pleasant liquid soap and shower gell
TV in bar was distracting and not conducive to work/converstion Slow free wifi/expensive premium wifi Too much decaf coffee/not enough proper coffee in room No free Biscuits Bed not turned over Hard to access the fixed liquid soap from the bath
Friendly welcome from receptionists, excellent location, close to train station and city centre. Clean & comfortable rooms. Extra pillows & blankets. All in all an excellent stay!
No bickies at the tea/coffee station! Lol
Central location near station and town centre. Breakfast tasty and staff very helpful.
Very central location and has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Heating room not too warm
Convenience & good choice at breakfast.
I got a fair deal , hotel is conveniently located , staff at the desk very helpful and polite. The only suggestion I would have would be to have a dryer in the bathroom as standard, there was non. I Only stayed overnight so nothing much to say. Apart from it was a comfortable night! Parking is just behind the hotel which was very convinient .
Location and good breakfast
Excellent location near many facilities.
All was as expected. I have stayed here many times.
The central location. Prestigious area near Opera house
Breakfast with two prices, serve yourself, why £10:00 for one egg one sausage one bread Plus fruit What you want across the road £3.99
staff need to be trained in customer service check in staff were nothing short of rude. while doin her job I'll admit it costs nothing to be polite .
paying for food before we received it and out condiments being left on a stool beside us cause there's was no room on the table to put it , the empty glasses could have been cleared away , no one bothered to check if the food was ok staff just seamed to be going thru the motions dragging their feet a young male food server who was pleasant didn't have a clue about holding plates or presenting a meal
Value for money, Comfordable, Central location for city centre.
My wife and I had a 1 night getaway here and it was perfect. We had a few drinks during the day in some close bars and we found a beautiful restaurant literally round the corner for the night. Back to the hotel after our meal for a few before hitting the cot. Would highly recommend it.
The staff were very accommodating and helpful as I was there during the holidays when many things were closed and they directed me toward places I could go and how it would be possible--times, cost, location, etc--simply from my enquiry. Everyone on staff during my stay were quite pleasant, professional and friendly.
One of the girls was to have looked at some information for me and they were wrong, so I almost missed my flight, but because I double checked the info that morning, I caught the error and all went smoothly if a little rushed since I couldn't enjoy breakfast. I would have preferred they say "I don't know or I didn't have time to look" than give me the info they think is correct without verifying it. That being said, all's well that ends well so not a huge problem.
Good location nice bar
Rooms a bit dated and plain
The interconnecting doors. My hen party could all stay together!
I JUST THOUGHT THE BED VERY HARD,BUT PROBABLY BECAUSE MY OWN BED IS LOVELY AN SOFT!
The young lady that booked me in was very helpful and friendly . On that basics alone I would come back . Frist impressions count for a lot .
only 2 milk cartons
Location. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts.
The bar and restaurant meals were poor. The Wi-fi did not work with my Android phone or my wife's tablet but it worked sometimes with her mobile. The room key cards that also operated the lifts, had to be re-programmed at least once a day as they ceased to function.
staff behaves like underpayed short-term staff; the breakfast features bread from one or two days ago
close to city center.good breakfast.clean room. helpfull staf on front desk
would have liked a chair in room.had to sit on bed to watch tv or read my book.
