We found the hotel was convenient for shopping and theatres and breakfast was good. Overall good value for money.
Staff were friendly, room was nice but the bathroom was a bit average
No complimentary biscuits to go with your tea, bed size was average, WiFi was too slow, the TV remote didn't work. The next morning when I went out to the shop the cards to let me back into the room didnt work and this was at 8:30am
Location is good.
Noise level in the hotel was awful we complained several times ...not alot was done about it. It was a Christmas party or something in fairness but would put me off staying there again.
Wi-Fi dropping out frequently. It appears that we may have been booked into one room at the front of the hotel and were switched to a room at the back of the hotel when we arrived.
Excellent location minutes from all city centre shops and centres! Breakfast was good and room big an comfortable-all in all good hotel-parking ticket is discounted also-would definately stay again
The banging noise in our room through the evening and night which i assume was the heating pipes
How you can get a bar food order wrong on two nights ? Service was very poor.
So close to everything staff very friendly
Breakfast - poor show?
There was nothing about this hotel that would make me want to come back unless i got an affordable deal.
it was not good value for money, the bed was small, the check in is slow...its like they have to find you a room..the room should be ready!
Friendly and very helpful staff
The location is superb, an easy walk to the main sights in the city and the shopping district. The staff were mostly friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable.
There's a bar on the ground floor. I arrived on a Saturday night and it was pretty raucous. My room was at the end of a hall and quiet, but walking down the corridor I could hear every conversation in every room along the way. Not a lot of privacy. The night before I left I asked reception to arrange for a taxi at 6:30 am to take me to the airport. They forgot to do it. Fortunately it was easy to get a taxi at that hour so I caught my flight. Amenities in the room were minimal - no safe, no iron, no toiletries other than soap and shampoo.
Closeness to city center, pleasantness of staff. Not noisy late at night.
Location very convenient for city centre
We booked a standard double and were given a twin room.
We had a family shopping trip great location ad friendly staff
Convenient location from train station & to centre
Had to wait near 2 hours to get room advised the check outs were late & housekeeping were on lunch. No real apology or no effort of compensation was made. Our plans were set back & things we wanted to do we couldn't because we couldn't get into room to change.
The hotel staff was easy found, the staff was so friendly and helpful would definitely return.
The free wifi wasn't that great but it done the job while we were there.
This was my 2nd time staying im sorry i didnt book a superior rm, On arrivel it was very busy an alot rms not ready some rooms werent ready to near 4pm i feel ppl should of been offered a beverage while waiting, A lady was on in bar early afternoon but was very slow an alot of ppl were waiting.staff were pleasant an nothing to much bother , room was basic an cold should of upgraded lesson learnt lol
Breakfast was so so the cooked breakfast is a big no no. beds offal hard an room was basic an cold even when heat went on.
the location, was excellent close to everything the staff couldn't do enough especially Karen! very friendly Lovely Christmas décor Bar with costa coffee
Location, staff and rooms were great. Excellent value for money.
Rooms were a bit dark, and the lighting wasn't very bright. Made it difficult to get ready in the evenings.
Convenient for the city centre. Excellent value when we stayed on the Sunday evening.
The bed was a standard double size. There was only tea and coffee available ( no biscuits ).In the morning there was some "street noise" as we were on the first floor.
Expected some more/better options of breakfast of £10.
Cleanliness, friendliness & location
Table service for food in bar was slow - not clear if order at bar or table service.
