Went to nia, just 4 minute walk away.
Location was great for the NIA
Room was very cold. Ac unit didn't seen to work properly. Bathroom was freezing no heating in it.
The staff were wonderful, from the reception to the night security (desmond was wonderful!)
Poor organisation at breakfast, more staff on the floor needed!
I have to say travelling to the centre is scary if you haven't done it before. Other than that my friend and I had a fabulous time
Driving in the city centre
Location as we attended the Queen concert at the Barclaycard Arena. Cleanliness and Comfort.
Nothing At All
Close to the barclaycard arena and all the bars on broad street
We were off to see a concert at The Barclaycard Arena and it was just a two minute walk. staff were pleasant, food was excellent, room was fine with comfy bed and pillows. Nothing to complain about. I would definitely return.
Proximity to nightlife
Lifts can be rather slow
nice vibrant area
we had a room opposite the lifts which could be heard all night long going up & down, also all the nightclubs music could be heard even though 12 floors up
Lovely cosy room
Our room was located near to the lifts and was noisy when in operation
Location. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
WiFi too slow.
Two double beds
Food staff and quality
The hotel is very well situated in center of Birmingham. You easily walk to the Bullring shopping center and the canals. It is 5 min walk from the NIA, so ideal if you are seeing a show. Breakfast was lovely.
My room was near the elevators so could hear them all the time.
Well presented hotel which was handy for NIA event we were going to. Friendly and efficient staff.
Great location nice room great breakfast
We went to birmingham to celebrate a birthday, the hotel price was value for money... location was about 10minutes from the city centre and train station. All the bars, clubs, restaurants were literally down the down, a cinema and supermarket 2 minute walk away. Staff we friendly, polite and effiectient, rooms were comfty, spacious, modern. Would definately stay again...highly recommended.
the location, and the very comfortable bed
The room we stayed in seemed to be not far from a lift, assuming, service, as right at end of corridor from guest lifts. It was very noisy with left going up and down. Breakfast was chaos!! not well thought out.
Perfect for our visit to Barclaycard arena. Staff very friendly and great breakfast.
Room was near lifts so a bit noisy.
We were challenged when we asked for extra blanket and pillows- told we should have more than enough. Thought the customer was always right?!
Helpfulness & friendly demeanour of staff. Clean, well appointed contemporary rooms
Noise from adjacent room's television in early hours of the morning. External noise audible in room despite being on 9th floor. Communal on 9th floor outside lift was cold.
Everything about the hotel was of very good quality and the service was excellent.
Nice decor, clean, good room amenities
Room comfortable with easily adjustable heating. Bar food excellent and bar open late for a nightcap. All staff encountered were polite and friendly. Guest checking in system when returning off Broad Street - stops anyone but residents using the bar.
food was lovely, staff very helpful., value for money good
pillows are like concrete, my husband and I both ended up with aching necks, hotel is very boring it could do with some health facilities i,e gym etc. i suspect most people only use it for over-night but we stayed a few days. No leaflets in hotel telling of local attractions, no fridge and no safe in room, probably would not stay there again when i go to birmingham next time
