Very clean ,good rooms, excellent breakfast It was very noisy from party-goers even though we were located on the 10th floor. The car parking fees were rather expensive.

Very clean and comfortable. Well presented. Staff were very helpful and efficient. We had comments that the hotel was a "difficult" walk from the train stations. Perhaps provision of a clear walking route from the stations would be helpful.

I slept very well, there was one member of staff called Anna who made up for the lack of courtesy from the others I had dealings with I felt that the front of staff when checking in couldnt wait to get rid of me. I was given no information about dining options in the hotel.I Finally asked what there was and was told there was a restaurant and the information would be in my room. There was a set menu for the restaurant and nothing else. I was not feeling very well and would have liked a meal in my room. There was no information on room service listed in information pack. Went downstairs and realised there was a lounge bar with a different menu and was also told I could have ordered a tray of food which I could come and collect. Not impressed at all for a busy city hotel to not have proper room service. They couldnt even provide me with a cheese board, which was a fiasco in itself when the waitress thought I was asking for a 'board' made of cheese! As for the queue into the breakfast room and lack of table, I was left feeling I was unlikely to stay here again.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful when checking in and out. Room was on the 10th floor and was spotless. Very quiet even though it is on Broad Street. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and not too busy although we did not eat until 9.30am.

Pleasant, well-appointed hotel with helpful staff. Modern decor with high standard of cleanliness. Close to amenities like the Symphony Hall. Somewhat impersonal, but ideal for business stays etc

Welcoming, friendly and efficient staff running a busy yet relaxed and comfortable, clean hotel suitable for both leisure and business users. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. An excellent location for the centre of the cities' amenities with convenient parking. Would stay again

Location was most important as we were attending a show at nia. Also walking distance to train station and bull ring. Very clean room and had all we needed. Very quiet at night in the room and given it is in the middle of night life we were pleasantly surprised. Also near some fab restaurants and the canal area was superb. Breakfast was a pretty dismal affair. All hot food stone cold, plates cold and poor quality food. Felt the restaurant area needed a refurb - looked tired.

Attentive staff Noisy people above us, and people walking down the corridors after the clubs shut being very noisy. Tap was very loose in the bathroom and you cannot control the heating/air con in the room. Has to be altered by an engineer. It has a unit on the wall that the booklet says you can alter but it is fixed. Had our room changed to cool air but was told the engineer can do it remotely, but as he goes home at 8pm, whatever it was set to, it would stay like that to the next morning!! You cannot alter it yourself despite the booklet showing you how to. Needs changing.

Convenient location Room with large, very cold bathroom! I had to ask for an additional radiator to improve on the general comfort in the room. Reception staff were not really knowledgeable about the area

Housekeeping was excellent. Very pleased that you had a security man on the door later in the evening. Late night service at the bar was fraught due to the large number of "expense account" Yuppies getting it down their necks and totally tying up the bar service lady with their petty requests. This meant that a couple wanting a bed time drink were totally out of luck. Not a reflection on your hotel but on the "me me me" society of today

Good location on Broad Street, yards from the canal and restaurant areas, and walking distance (15 mins) from New St or Snow Hill stations. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, including those with whom we had no dealings, who invariably smiled and said hello. We asked for extra pillows and these were delivered to the room within minutes. The room heating was a mystery and we failed to make it work despite assistance from staff. Why oh why do good hotels like Jury's continue to charge rip-off prices for Internet connections? Go next door to the Weatherspoons pub and connect for free (over a pint of decent ale, too!) The breakfast was dreadful. Very few choices (no cold meats etc, just cereal and fried). The latter was unappetising and stale looking by the time we ate (after 9am).

Really great hotel for the price I paid - £65. Twin room and 2 double beds, was very spacious, lovely bathroom, and great carpet. Large bar area which was nice, with friendly staff and comfy sofas. Very very very noisy lifts. Kept me awake, and our room wasn't even that close to them!
