Score from 577 reviews Very good
Very affordable, very helpful staff. Excellent bar and dining facilities. Excellent buffet style, self service breakfast and plenty of staff available if you need anything. Great proximity to nightlife and a considerable party atmosphere in the lobby and bar. Very close to ICC - about 3 minutes walk.
A small queue to get in to the hotel in the very early hours of the morning as there are a lot of revellers trying to get in to the bar. So you have to identify yourself to the bouncer on the door. Slightly irritating but so much better than the alternative.
very comfortable good breakfast choices good location staff helpful.
having to queueto sign out when leaving.
Central location, comfortable and relaxed environment.
Easy to get to, well located to the Symphony Hall and the rest of central Birmingham, clean and, for a central city location, quite quiet.
Having to pay for parking!
The wifi was excellent, the room super clean and the bathroom very nice.
It was a bit too expensive for what it was.
The beds were very comfy and the room was a great size
The car park was full so wasn't too impressed by that
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, location ideal for most shops and entertainment venues. Hotel very clean and comfortable and excellent wifi.
Had to wait until after 4pm for check in despite arriving in the morning.
Location. If you are going to a show at the Town Hall, NIA or Symphony Hall the location is 10 mins from any of them.
The hotel location is good and the staff very good.
The bed was not good, towels there were not enough, The bar closed early.
Staff, facilities & location
Good size bed and bathroom Spacious bar area
Price of car parking excessive
Well located position handy for ICC, NIA and all the facilities of Brindleypoint. Only a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre. Breakfast was very good and there's a huge choice of bars and restaurants practically on the doorstep.
Logging on to the wifi was a bit difficult and not quite straightforward, this was experienced by several others. Everything else was excellent.
Good Location The room is good and comfortable
Long que at check-in (again) Free WiFi not working Price a bit high
-30 mins queue to check in -had incorrect details about both the cost of the deal and whether breakfast was included. -very basic accommodation for what you pay -so and so breakfast
all round excellent hotel.quality of food very good with a wide range of choice for all you can eat breakfast.room very clean with a very comfortable queen size bed.hotel location excellent for nia & city centre.
No space in hotel car park at 7pm on a Saturday. Directed to use an alternative - but not being local we had no idea where it was. Hotel bar a bit characterless. Bed and pillows were like bricks.
Right near icc which was easy to walk too and liked the fact staff checked on door at early hours to get in the venue felt very safe.
The hotel is in a prime place and great for all the local amemeties
The room was uncomfortably cold and even after asking the staff on reception nothing was done about it. The weather was horrendous during our visit and we had to spend longer in the room than we would have
The beds are really lovely and comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good and lots of it.
We booked to check-in at 12.00,on arrival the receptionist told us we could'nt book in until 2.00pm,we had to point out to her on our booking form what we had booked. We should have had water, biscuits and a paper with the room. There were none. We went to reception to ask for them. But on the Sunday morning there was no newspaper. We were also charge twice for breakfast and had to have a refund. These were only small details, but if you avertise these things they should be adhered to.
having to pay extra for breakfast
View from 15th floor. Convenience for Symphony Hall.
Mould round bath. Leaking toilet & broken seat.Useless TV remote. One room given bottled water and biscuits second room not.
Double double rooms, so much better than small twin beds which are totally pointless.
I do prefer to be able to open a window at night but not able to here.
When u first arrive at the hotel it is quiet nice. However at closer inspection the bathtub plug hole was all rusty and dirty. The beds were really uncomfortable to sleep on. Had a terrible nights sleep there. Then we went to the vending machine at reception to get a drink it would not take any of our coins. We asked the security guy if he can give us change for a pound coin and he completely ignored us. The reception never answer their phone either. Was really disappointed overall
