Rooms comfortably furnished and the staff were very pleasant and attentive when there was a problem. Location close to the harbour and within easy walking of main shopping centre was very good. Room was rather cool and there was no way of regulating the heating (or lack of it). The Dining room was rather small for the size of the hotel and so, depending on the time you went to breakfast, there could be quite a wait for a table to become free. Due to the location of the hotel there could be a lot of noise from the outside nightlife at weekends. |

Courteous and attentive staff. Dinner - excellent food. Room clean and tidy. The bathroom had excellent fittings but was rather small and cramped. The price of breakfast was considered a little too expensive. |

Lovely view from my room, fantastic location. Nice room and furnishings. Poor soundproofing between rooms , I could hear couple nextdoor being 'intimate'. Very noisy from corridor outside when not- particularly- noisy people returned to rooms and the bedroom floor shook as they walked past. Lady at reception very unwilling to give me a non-smoking room with a view, 1st sending me to a smoking one. Most importantly hot water not hot enough and noisy bathroom fan sucked in cold air from outside ruining what should have been a nice relaxing bath and nb it was not very cold outside ,that room must get freezing at times. |

The design was very subtle and attractive. The hotel exuded class and comfort. The breakfasts were very impressive and of a high quality. The staff could not find my online booking. I had to show them a printout to prove I had made the booking. There is a small bar with a limited range of drinks. The room cleaning staff called around very early on the weekend (c.7.30). |

Efficient service. Helpful, friendly staff. High standard food. Handy for the city.Good central location. The car parking arrangements are in close proximity to a mobile phone mast which upset our vehicle security system. |

The high handed, supercilious check in receptionist, The room was really nothing special, the towels need replacing, the bathroom was tiny and the bed linen was past its best. Although the hotel have a deal with the NCP car park next door you still end up paying for 24 hours so there was no saving in parking there. |

I always enjoy staying at The Bristol Hotel. Its convenient location, good sized rooms excellent room service along with privacy make it an ideal place to stay whilst visiting elderley parents in the city. The car park is particularly useful as you can enter at the correct floor and therefore do not have to carry luggage very far. Love it |

Well located by the waterside in Bristol. Very well refurbished clean and fresh feel throughout. The parking at the attached NCP is very convenient indeed but charging was a moveable feast. At checkout it seems that if you are complaining loudly enough its free! Just include it in the room rate! (BTW I paid) |

I particularly appreciated the efficiency of the staff. I liked the quality of the complimentary products (shampoo, shower gel and body lotion) and the availability of high speed internet connection. |

Very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated room. Great location for exploring Bristol. Room very good value for money Compared to cost of room (£69 for a double), £32 for breakfast for two is not good value. |
