Really helpful staff on the front desk and lovely bar area overlooking the waterside.

Bathroom is a bit too small in room 405.

Small room, which was classed as superior !!! very uncomfortable bed, no duck down mattress topper, as stated and pillows were very poor quality and had stains on them (have photo's) checked out 1 night early

Noise frin ground floor, thin walls on first floor.

Central position, nice fresh bed linen, big room, 2 adults and a 9 yr old readily accommodated on arrival (but the booking had not been clear on this, see opposite). Nice clean bathroom. Brill car park arrangements.

Vague booking regarding child bed, Very dirty windows outside. No thermostat for adjusting heating so had to open windows for sleeping, sleep disturbed by shouting and revelry in street until at least 3am. Sink slow draining (why aren't these things checked?) But overall loved it!

Staff friendly and helpful, room very clean and very well equipped, sparkling white bedding, lovely dining room for breakfast, very convenient car park - and free too ! - and the best central position for exploring Bristol Centre and all its attractions

Sound insulation around our room (326) was poor, we heard conversations through the bathroom wall, and the constant banging of doors at night was very tiresome. We have always slept on pocket sprung beds and the tendency to slide to the middle of the bed was also not too condusive to a good night's sleep. We had hoped for better. Bathroom very small for a hotel of this class.

Looked forward to listening to the piano in the bar, but the music was repetitive and monotonous.

All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with opening windows and no air conditioning.We like the location. We also very much like the fact that we can have a "smoking" room.

Being only 5' 2" tall the spy hole is of absolutely no use to me, ditto the notices which are positioned above especially as the print is so small. It would be rather useful to have more than one chair in a double room.

When I had a complaint it was dealt with promptly

Adjacent "VERY INCONSIDERATE" neighbours whom deemed it "OK" to put their tv on very loudly then fall asleep to let the rest of us listen to it till 4 in the morning!! Some people!!!

Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff particularly reception. Went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Good decoration. Nice reception.Very close to the Harbour side and has parking next to the hotel.

We got a room on the fourth floor, which was tiny with no air conditioning. It did not represent value for money at all. Reception staff on check-out were a bit abrupt and rude.

The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is very central.
