very clean, efficient and good food. Very nice staff.
My one gripe which sounds odd but was very frustrating! The music playing throughout the hotel is too loud. If you are in the bar then there is the music and 3 TV's (all on different channels) audio running at once.
Service and attitude of staff, particularly Reception.
Young companion of mine. Good supply of English tea.
Noise from Glasgow Central rail tracks.
close to all the facilities for travel in Glasgow and southern scotland
the noise of the environs and some of the guests were very noisy after midnight a lot of coming and going. Perhaps this hotel needs a bit more security
Location and cleanliness and quiet. If you need a good night's sleep after or before a long trip , this is an excellent choice.
The staff was nice but their english is so limited, they could not give minimal directions. Obvilusly the girls were selected for their looks but sometimes a guest just wants some simple directions in the city.
Comfortable room with good views of the city. Reasonably near to the centre.
Difficult access (narrow) car park used by the hotel, but excellent value. pretty rough area at night, near to station.
Having a four year old who is a light sleeper seemed like a challenge, however the hotel management were able to accommodate us on the top floor away from street level where it was very quiet. This was much appreciated and gave our little one the peace and quiet she needs for a good sleep. Thank you.
Nothing of note
Great accommodating staff, catering for our needs (5month baby). Giving us a larger than booked room because it was available at no extra cost. Clean crisp sheets, towels, facilities and good quality wash soaps.
Expensive break fast costs and car park.
Room was warm even with air conditioning on
Comfort, convenience, central lovely food
Bar and restaurant. Comfortable bed.
Noise from slamming doors in corridor.
Access ability to secc via taxi and was within a short walk of very good shopping.
Location was good
Good breakfast, enjoyed the fruit smoothies. Staff very helpful
Had a room at front of building on eighth floor room 815 . Room was a good size and had a double and single bed . Had a great nights sleep didn't hear a thing
Door was a bit stiff apart from that everything was perfect
On arrival we were asked if we were going anywhere nice, as we were dressed up. We informed the staff we had just got married. Within 5 minutes of us entering our room the management had. sent up a bottle of fizz which was a nice touch. The service at this Hotel is we feel of a first class nature with a personal touch, considering how busy the hotel was. I always felt that nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
The bar had a limited stock with their staff stretched at times.
Very central convenient position. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
The food at the grill was very poor and we had to wait a long time to be served. Despite ordering a taxi at reception to go to a wedding, we nearly missed it because it didn't turn up.
Foods and environment were bad, as my room right next to the train station, it was noisy started from six.......
location was excellent because near the train station and great shopping area as well as walks by the river Clyde. My room had a great view over the city and river area. It was my first visit to the city and the hotel was recommended to me by a friend who stays there.
very close to railway station and only 10 minutes from main shopping area and restaurants
the train noise continues all night suggest ask for a room away from railway as Glasgow Central station is on the doorstep and trains seem to go by all night
Very clean with all facilities you expect.
Hardly slept for the noise of the trains however we did complain in the morning, the management offered a reduction and an executive suites the time we are in Glasgow.
clean, trendy, comfortable and excellent location
service in restaurant and management responses not as good as could be
paper thin walls noisy guests location
