The Breakfast. A clean but shabby standard room. At £244 for 2 nights this was way over priced. Considering the booking was made in April, we seem to have been charged walk in prices. There were no major events in Glasgow that weekend. Having checked room rates for the following weekend the tarriff appeared to be half of the price we were charged.

The hotel was great and the service was excellent The price I was told when I arrived it was £61 per night until I checked. Out and found that only two nights were £61 the other night was £176' very disappointed?

Bed was extremely comfortable and cleanliness was exception. All in all fantastic night and I would stay again. Would recommend! Price of the bottled water was way too expensive! I didn't purchase due to this.

Clean rooms is an obvious requirement but it's amazing how many city centre based "premium chains" have poor standards, particularly in Glasgow. Jury's is a basic, but spotless, comfortable, no-frills value-for-money hotel. The women on reception was a little "un-friendly" - actually something I have encountered in every Jury's I have stayed (Glasgow, Aberdeen & Sheffield) - reception staff just seem a bit dis-interested

Location Lampshade was very heavily stained. Small table to sit at without a chair. Windows were so dirty it looked like it was constantly raining outside. We bought a bottle of wine but had no corkscrew, asked hotel bar if this could be opened, bar man was happy to help but then his manager snatched the bottle out his hand and dont this for me with a very unpleasent/unhelpful face. Would I stay here again????? No! You get a better experience and standard at a premier in for a lower price.

Staff were friendly. On arrival I was given a total of 4 rooms one after another. The first 2 rooms were occupied, the 3rd was a twin, the 4th was correct. The bathroom extractor fan ran constantly, no hot water in the shower.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, it was a pleasure staying there right from checking in. The place was very clean and in good condition throughout and we were given a room on the 11 floor at the front which was very quiet with good views along the river. The breakfast, which is all self service was very pleasant with the food kept very warm. A good selection of hot and cold options should ensure most people are happy, although some people I know will never be satisfied! This is a place I will use again when in Glasgow and will recommend it to any one else. Not a lot wrong with the place at all. As already mentioned we were in a room at the front, high up, but the rear of the hotel backs on to the Central Station which may give some noise. However the double glazing was very effective in our room so it may not be an issue.

Ease of check in Room service would be a distinct plus. also, with 4 0r 5 breakfast alternative locations within 5minutes walk of the hotel, the charge for breakfast seems rather exorbitant.
