Hotel was in a great central location, great for shopping and also great for night out!! Hotel was clean and comfortable only one tiny niggle which was the triple room only had 1 chair to sit on.

did not like the smell of paint in the room i know the room has to be painted not very nice to sleep in also did not like the noise of hen and stag at 3 o clock in the moring not very nice when u have kids

Generally very good.

Service at the bar in the evenings was very slow. The young lady on duty was unfriendly and appeared to be treating her position as an imposition. Conversely, the reception counter staff were very professional and friendly.

Menu is still over the top and bar can be long winded if you want to eat

The hotel was good location for what we needed it for, staff friendly, clean and breakfast was very good.

I didn't like the fact that when we were booking in we were asked if we would like upgrades - at a cost of course.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.It was very well located in the city centre within easy reach of the shops and services.

The meals were not the best - the veg was very overcooked and breakfast was not the best I have had at similar hotels. The room service was only available if you collected and returned it yourself on a tray which was not very convenient.

Temperature of room was freezing, couldn't get air con adjusted Hand Dryer, in disabled toilet at main reception broken, no hand towels, had to resort to using toilet paper, it was such poor quality it made drying my hands impossible! I have mobility problems, e-mailed a request, in advance, for room with walk-in shower, never got reply and it was over the bath, couldn't use it

The relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was welcoming and everything was managed in a smoothe way. At the end of the day sightseeing or meeting friends we were happy to return 'home' to our room.

Location, price range and quality was just what I was looking for.

Friendly staff, information that was given by reception. Location was ideal. Breakfast times were excellent. Bar was really nice, we liked the separate bar to eating area. The room had a really good view over the Clyde. The close proximity to the train station

The room was very cold, the temperature was very hard to control in the room and was very drying to the throat, there was no heating in the bathroom, not even a towel rail which made it really uncomfortable to have a wash or use the toilet and meant that we did not shower over the weekend at all

Located in city centre with friendly staff and excellent accommodations. Room was very comfortable and clean.

There was no internet available the second day on my stay (until late in the evening). Internet access was not free and had to contact the staff to have it enabled. I was unfamiliar with room's security feature where the room card had to be inserted in a slot by the door to enable power. I like the feature but it's easy to leave the room without the room card.

The Friendly staff, clean and quiet room although looking onto the Central Station Glasgow. Food in restaurant was delicious.

One of the towels had a small stain which looked like blood. Didn't complain as we used the other bath towel and were only there for one night.
