The bedroom was spacious and fully equipped. The restaurant manager was superb as she dealt with a mix up reference the breakfast. The only thing was when we went to the bar, saturday evening and sat down, the young barman gave us the bill for the drink quite early on and hadnt even had finished half the drink, this made my partner in particular feel rushed. Myself i wasnt impressed and refused to rush as my daughter is a guest relations manager at a de vere hotel, hence have knowledge of some procedures. |

The location was excellent for theatre land and for covent garden shopping. The idea to have a dine before the show was a really good one and the whole ambience smelt of a classy establishment all good |

The design of the hotel / furnishings ia/are very nice and tasteful. The restaurant is also very nice, but I think it deserves to be advertised better: from the street you do not even know there is a restaurant in the hotel; if you want to keep it all for the hotel guests, that is fine, if you want more customers, maybe you could add a sign outside... |

everything was first class. A very stylish suite, a good cream tea in the lounge. bar & restaurant were enjoyable & breakfast was excellent too. A very enjoyable stay the bathroom blinds were perhaps not opaque enough for my liking. As I could make out people in the office opposite presumably they could do the same thing! The glass in the windows was clear so the blinds had to be down. |

You cannot have breakfast before 7.00 am!!!! Certainly not a Hotel for business people...Also, the staff I met was useless...They were unnware how to use credit card. Everyday I had to come to the check in counter with my Corporate AMEX card and the staff kept telling me the card was declined. The last day I had to shout till I could speak to a manager who managed to process the payment with my card...I will never go back there! |

The location was ideal - close to everything Rooms were very small, we were told it was a listed building and this was the reason. Very difficult to control temperature, ended up getting infected tonsils from having air con on - and we were on our honeymoon! Had to ask to move rooms, a bit better but not much. |

The hotel is well located in the city. It is also next to a Metro station. All the major sites are within walking distance from the hotel. Room was nicely decorated. We arrived on New Years Eve and were greeted by staff that were not so friendly. We weren't even wished a Happy New Year. Throughout the stay the staff remained unfriendly. The bedroom was also very small. There was just about enough room to get around the bed on one side - the other side of the bed was blocked by a chair. Room was well decorated and very clean, but it did not have a full double bed, looked like a 3/4 double. Hotel is over-priced. Breakfast is far too expensive. Overall I would not stay here again. I travel to London a lot and there are a lot better hotels than this one. |

The hotel is well situated and has easy access to all transport links as well as within walking distance of Oxford Street and The West End. The staff were very helpful and always made an effort to answer any questions. |

It was easy to walk to all the sites of central London. The hot water in the bath was too hot and not adjustable. The TV did not work in the bathroom. |

Close to main london sights. This was classified as a luxury hotel and was very expensive. The sink was blocked and the remote control was not working. As a 'luxury' hotel surely the staff should not berelying on customers reporting deficiencies like this. Also £21 for breakfast is outrageous. |

The hotel is near the heart of the night life and shopping which is a big plus At 4am I was woken by a buzzing noise and spent the morning thinking what it could be, then at 8am discovered it was noise from the mini bar so I switched it off at the wall socket. I informed the reception upon checking out but they did not appear interested. The point is I did not get a good nights sleep. The noise from the fridge was constant and only becomes apparant when the T.v is off and no other noise can be heard. To class the room (604) as a superior double was a surprise as it was very small (just enough room for a double bed, desk and chair, 1 x bed side unit and a single wardrobe built into the wall) The bathroom and toilet are on a door leading directly off the bedroom. |

Local to all ammenities. lovely hotel just off the main streets. Overall a pleasant stay despite hiccups No record of booking on arrival. Despite sorting out booking by providing a copy of the confirmation mail we had the embarrassment of being turned away from breakfast. The staff were not overly sorry for their mistakes. |
