Location very good and staff are very helpful.
Perfect for anyone visiting the Bradford Alhambra. The Night porter was very helpful and friendly. The bed was so comfy. We'll definitely be back.
Slight mix up over rooms, but staff were excellent and changed my room. Thank you.
No problems at all and would stay here again.
Location, Check In, Check Out, The Staff, The Rooms, EVERYTHING!!
I love everything about the hotel. The staff are friendly and ever ready to offer assistance. The location is just right to connect the University of Bradford where my son is studying and the city centre. I could just take a walk to connect. The only thing missing is the buffer breakfast that was not charged with my booking as was the case when we stayed here last year September as I brought my son to school. Was almost embarrassed as we were told, my daughter and I must pay for English or continental before we could be seated. It was a beautiful surprise to be told breakfast was charged into your booking.
Breakfast was not charged with my booking and was embarrassed as was told to pay before my daughter and I could be seated. My son enjoyed this when we were in Bradford last year September. I preferred that option.
Fantastic location for one night away with friends. Pubs, curry and media museum (amazing by the way) all within walking distance. Great hotel for the price and friendly staff.
We had our original booking in Harrogate cancelled by the Cairn Hotel with less than 3 weeks notice. We were travelling as a group of friends to celebrate a special birthday. The staff were so very helpful and made our trip extra special
Nothing everything was spot on
Loved everything given to us
Didnt like the parking options..the ncp building should extend their opening times beyond midnight
We enjoyed the fact that the people on reception are always willing to help you regardless if time.
great location, good parking facilities nearby, and comfortable hotel.
always seemed busy on reception, and quite hectic at breakfast due to numbers of people.
Lovely clean rooms, comfortable and modern. Will boo again
The staff were great and very helpful always smiling. Lovely to see that. Thank you.
My room was facing the street so I found it quite noisy I didn't expect it as there were heavy curtains and double window. I will know next time not to stay in room tk the street. Thank you.
The size of the room The easy access Everything I requested at booking was there
The bathroom was very smelly and because we got back from a party cery late, i didn't wabt to wake my daughter up with cleabers voming in and out.
Staff, location and rooms
That we couldn't stay longer
location comfort value for money
Middle of Bradford centre. Good, however Bradford itself is so-so, nothing to do with hotel. Good breakfast, better than expected in UK.
It was great for really good price!
People around the hotel can be a bit strange, could smell weed in the lobby, but no trouble when we got to the room
We had breakfast on the morning of Sat 1st Nov, it was awful, food was dried out under the heat lamps, no cups for coffee, no glasses for juice. Waste of £10, we chose to have breakfast elsewhere on the Sunday morning.
Clean hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities.
We couldn't turn the loud extractor fan off in the bathroom. Kept us awake through the night at times. Should have mentioned it to reception but wasn't too keen to leave the room at 2am.
Was not worth the price - nothing to put on the sandwich (cheese, vegetables...)
The noise of the air con
Price, central location
Public corridors a bit bland, bit more decoration would be nice Also, the bed/pillows were quite hard so not the best nights sleep
Easy to access, free wifi. Good bar menu and available until late, reasonably priced.
Staff were absolutely awful! Placing food order- interrupted by another staff member who wanted a diet coke and they guy serving me stopped me mid sentence to do it!!! Unreal! Check in was not great- no help with luggage or 'did you have a nice journey sir'. It was a case of...your name please, thats £80, where's your card. Not very hospitable. Checkout wasn't great- not interested if I had a nice stay, interesting day ahead etc. Speaking as an ex-hotel worker, I was genuinely appauled!
Me and my partner enjoyed our stay, the staff were really nice and kind, the view from the room was good and we had a front facing room, everything with the room was perfect.
our only comment would be they could do with mini fridge's in the room with water and a small bottle of milk as we ran out of milk
