Was too far from everything and over priced
Not the most clean room I have ever stayed at. Price based on what you got was poor. I have paid less for much more.
The location is excellent and staff are very nice.It is 2 minutes walking from the train station.
There is no safe in the rooms.
The helpfulness and 'can-do' attitude of all the staff.
Nothing to dislike
Location was good for town shopping and close enough for an easy walk to coast and pier. Hotel style and view from window was nice.
No private or cheap parking.
Location close to railway station
Rooms not soundproof - you hear everything from the corridor. Poor shower.
Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful
Food was a bit overpriced and would like to see it cater for children more
Location, clean, and comfortable bed
The hotel was in a good location right by the train station! It was clean and had good facilities in the rooms! Downstairs bar with a costa coffee shop and friendly staff! Would stay again! Thank you!
Wifi didn't seem to work very well and was very slow!
Staff we're helpful, good location
Food in the (expensive) restaurant was very poor and room hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time
Bit stingy with tea facilities
Location and convenience. Up market formulaic, better than the Travel lodge alternative
The shower in my room had no pressure, I didn't find out till I was going out for the evening and had to change rooms at 2 in the morning when I got back. The pressure in the new room wasn't much better. Lack of water pressure in a modern hotel shower is a serious plumbing issue and not acceptable in this day and age. The a Hotel HAS to resolve this.
As we travelled by train the location was amazing
My 4 year old daughter was brought the pizza from the children's menu and was still frozen, we returned it and the same one was brought back out after being reheated
Good location for train station but a longish walk to attractions. However plenty of buses or taxis available.
I like the breakfast, it was great.
I didn't like the view from our room!
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Near to the station which was great for travelling with kids.
Sofa bed was not made before we arrived which was sorted immediately by the reception staff.
the hotel was clean, comfortable and in a good location, staff were friendly and helpful
we felt that the quality of food both at breakfast and evening meal was poor compared to other similar priced hotels that we have stayed in.
This hotel is only a 10 minute walk to Brighton beach. It is a 2 minute walk to Brighton station. The breakfast choice was fantastic and the rooms were very neat. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
There was nothing not to like.
Within a short walking distance to shops, foreshore and tourist attractions. Very quiet, roomy and comfortable rooms.
The parking deal was a real hassle. No- one was in the kiosk to help us. We were sent on a wild goose chase to try to purchase the tickets. It could have been explained a lot clearer at reception to avoid all the hassles. Purhaps Jury Inn could provide parking vouchers?
Close to station, Bar open until 01.00 as we often arrive late after work from devon. (Brighton football club season ticket holders
our booking staed room had mineral water and biscuits we had neither. member of staff said that it did not apply to our room even whe we showed our booking confirmation. We spent £328.00 surely they could have spared water and biscuits. Menu doesnt change much either
We picked Jury's as it is an Irish hotel group and has a good name ... We didn't end up being able to go due to a family member who was to graduate in Brighton failing an exam.
When we tried to defer our booking we were not able to. We rang booking.com and they advised that the hotel would not allow it. I rang the hotel on two occasions and a manager was to ring me back but didn't. We forfeited our money.
The resturat and the staff in it
Free wi-fi and the star were polite and friendly. Hotel is right by the station and close to the seafront about 10-15 minute walk. Breakfast was fabulous and plenty of it.
Good location, our room was in need of a little refurbishment but was clean and comfortable, the staff were excellent and so was the breakfast, would definetley return
The hotel is so close to the station (literally next door) and despite being a big group, they were very accommodating with letting us leave our bags before and after we checked in (so we could go explore). The rooms were twin but they were 1 double/queen and one single bed so that was a nice surprise.
While it's great to drop your bags off by the station, it's less convenient if you wanted to be in the midst of things or close to the seaside. However we were after close to the station and they happily booked taxis for us when we wanted to go further afield.
