Good price via Booking.com but I would never pay the full asking price given the overall experience. Other hotels are reasonably priced and offer the same level of service and quality with a free car park. Car park was not at the hotel which meant bringing luggage down a flight of stairs from the ajoining car park and through the rain. This was not the ideal start to what was believed to be a high quality hotel. |

Rooms were lovely, staff were great-all our needs were met.Would stay here again. No parking at the hotel and it took us 3 attempts to reach the hotel via sat nav as the postcode took us to the other side of the road and was difficult to get to. |

Very clean, good facilities and good location The restaurant staff was a bit too much on top of customers, asking every 10 mins if everything was ok. I would have prefered if I could have enjoyed my meal without having to answer to staff every 10 mins! |

It's new and still clean looking. The bathroom was comfortably sized. Although there is an underground car park it was not available for guests use. "It is owned by the council" a member of staff advised me. |

The staff were very helpful when I raised the concern below. Other reports on the web site do not mention that the hotel is right next to the Inner Ring Road in Derby. Rather more than half the rooms directly overlook the dual carriageway, so I would suggest that anyone who has difficulty with traffic noise either go elsewhere or ensure that you get a room on the other side of the hotel. I was given a lovely room overlooking the Ring Road, which was quiet late on Sunday when I arrived. After being awoken at 5am by traffic, I asked the staff if I could have a room on the back of the hotel. I was given one without any problem and was happy with the other two nights of my stay. I would also strongly recommend that anyone with a car park it first, then walk 100m to the hotel. |

Nice modern hotel, bar food very good value No car park!! Strangely there is one below the hotel but guests can't use it!! The nearest public car park is grotty and not somewhere you want to safely leave your car and if it is raining you will get soaked walking to the hotel.....I did!! |

I and the other 7 people in my party enjoyed our stau very much! the rooms were comfortable and clean, staff friendly and obliging and breakfast was excellent! I had arranged for flowers to be delivered for the bride to be in our party, which she would collect under her name. However the young man on duty had no idea of the arrangements. Equally, I had been told that it would be fine for the party to check in at 12 to one of the three rooms, however they were not ready. Finally, whilst it wasn`t a problem that the fire alarm set off on the Sunday morning, the lights did not come on and we had no idea where anything was in order to leave the room safely? |

The fashionable interior, the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was well presented and stocked. Didn't like the fact it didn't have ensite parking, was a bit of a nightmare having to go in and out of the multi story car park opposite, the paying didn't matter, it was just the inconvenience. |

New, clean, efficient, comfortable, helpful check in staff, Gideon's Bible in the room. Lack of car park, no where to pull in to unload, difficult to findhotel, lack of shaver socket in the bathroom. Also two small things which could improve the hotel:- A selection of fruit teas with the tea and coffee in the room and labelling of the fruit juices at breakfast. If I had known in advance that our room would have a single bed as well as a double bed, I would not have booked a separate room for our 17 year old daughter. Alternatively it would be good if the hotel offered a reduced "single occupancy rate." Also I felt the drinks in the bar were expensive |

Well presented, clean surroundings. Good location close to town. Lack of parking facilites was a problem, especially due to the one way system the hotel in located in the middle of. Also the hotel was not registered with 118212 so I was unable to ring from my car to gain information where to park, and had to walk to the hotel to ask. |

The room was comfartable and clean with a very good shower facility, city centre position was very good for my business trip I was dissapointed that there was no parking facilities on site I had driven past previosly and wrongly thought that the facility underneath hotel was the hotels car park. I was a bit dissapointed that my booking was not staight forward as they could not find my booking when I arrived I had to prove that I had booked it through the web. |
