Lighting in bathroom not very good.
Location Easy access to Princess Street Costa Coffee Helpfulness of staff
The shower wasn't that clean and there was hair on bathroom floor.
We stayed in Jury's Inn for a hen party as the location was ideal. Rooms were of a good size and were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfy.
Location was perfect for Royal Mile and Grassmarket and very near to train station. Overall a very comfortable stay
Nothing of particular note
Staff were very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was excellent. Good view from room. Room very clean.
Great location in the centre of Edinburgh, especially if you walk through Waverly Station to get to Princes Street.
the loation near all the things I wanted to see and do the helpfulness of the staff the excellent restruant will certainly use again
location great staff very nice
Room small and extremely hot at night .
Fab location just off the Royal Mile handy to explore old & new town. Breakfast was excellent lots of choices.
Room was very dated really could do with modernisation, our 1st room was small with a horrible view so we asked to be moved which we were straight away, for price expected a nicer room but think you are really paying for the location.
Location excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Great breakfast with lots of choice.
Rooms on the front were noisy from the railway station and road.
location breakfast and very nice staff
nothing to complain about
The hotel was in an excellent location for accessing the centre of Edinburgh. The room was slightly shabby but it was comfortable and warm enough. Breakfast was quite good and the staff gave prompt service.
We chose a rear-facing room because it would be quieter but there was still quite a lot of noise on some nights. One of the rough sleepers down the road gave us a mouthful of abuse for no apparent reason and my wife subsequently said that he would not like to return to the hotel on her own after dark.
Value for money, great location, great breakfast.
Not enough ventilation in bathroom when showering.
Location - in the heart of the city but quiet - staff were excellent and really informative.
The evening meal on friday in the restaurant- probably the poorest meal that we have ever had- staff were great but the neck of lamb was badly cooked tough and inedible- dessert was described as banana creme caramel but had no bananas- we did not pay for the main course and filled up on cheese and biscuits- felt so bad for the guys serving us!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was so central so we were never far from the places that we wanted to visit. The beds wre very comfy.
I cannot think of anything.
Our room was grossly overheated by pipes concealed in the window wall which were not controllable.
Situated between Princes Street and The Royal Mile this hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing. All the staff we met were extremely helpful.
The food from the bar was excellent and good value for money.Good location easy to get about.
the room we had was near the railway heard the trains next time would ask for a room to the back.
Closeness to Waverley Station Closeness to City Sights Quiet Room with plenty of space
Breakfast crockery was not cleaned properly. I noticed dirty mugs and plates and bowls with dried food on them.
The staff were helpful and cheerful. The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was tastey and good value for money. The hotel's location was perfect for access to the station, Royal mile and Princes street. Being able to leave luggage before and after check in/out times.
Lack of comfortable chairs in bedroom.
Have stayed at this hotel few times ideal location. This time our view first thing on a sunny morning was so picturesque. Very helpful staff.
Unfortunately we had a young toddler in the next room who had an unsettled night and we could hear this, but this could happen anywhere.
Excellent location Good facilities
problems with heating of the room
