Good location, reception staff very helpful. Noisey front room, had to ask for a change of room which was facilitated immediately. Some noise early morning in the back of the hotel which I heard another guest complaining about at reception. In my view there should be no work noise before 8.00am. |

it was very central to everything and easy to access by public transport. Near all the sights and bus trips and bars and restaurants the railway station across the road was a bit noisy in the mornings but i think this was because our room was directly across from station, rooms at back would be quieter i think |

Hotel was right in the middle of the old town and just minutes from Princes Street, the perfect place to explore the city from. I particularly liked the late checkout option which worked perfectly for us as our flight home was at 22.00. Staff were very friendly and obliging. |

The location was excellent as it was close to everything that a tourist in Edinburgh would like to be close to i.e Castle, Golden Mile, shopping, bars, Murrayfield, Train Station and other transportation facilities. |

The location is very good and the hotel was good value for money. The bar is too expensive. The rooms could be upgraded. The hotel is somewhat noisy. |

Very central location for Edinburgh city and airlink buses & train station are on the doorstep. Unfortunately we were very disappointed...the food was really bad, service slow and some of the front of house staff I felt were a bit unprofessional. Most of the other staff were very professional and extremely friendly. £100 to replace a safety deposit box key is ridiculous, which luckily I didn't lose! |

The hotel was well placed for visiting both sides of the city during our stay and access to start of marathon. As part of my job I stay in many different hotels around the country and did feel the cost was excessive as it did not include breakfast, no onsite parking even the television in the room could not give a reliable reception and finally the hotel staff were not proactive in reducing public noise at 3 and 4 am on two occassions. |

The accessibility to the city centre and tourist attractions. The hotel although fairly central to the city was still quiet. The drinks in the bar were very expensive. The room tarriff for friday and saturday night were very high, possibly because of the Heineken Cup final being held at the time. The bed sheets we not changed the whole time of our stay! |

Handiness to all Edinburgh has to offer The price - although I realise because of the Heinekin Cup rooms were at a premium. We were there for the rugby and decided to stay although we live outside Glasgow. |

Very nice clean room with lots of space Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight, with self service taken to the extreme. Having to queue for a pot of tea is not ideal. Food itself was OK. |
