Very close to the station and convenient for all city centre facilities. Hotel was fine, I still think it mean not to include breakfast in the rate. |

Excellent location - just around the corner from Waverley Train Station and easy access to both Old and New Town. Literally just slept in hotel so it suited our needs perfectly but if you wanted to come back to relax after shopping, theatre, dinner, etc - definitely a no-no Had the feel of a Travel Lodge. Room rate quoted on website before reduction was ridiculous. Rooms were quite tired but very clean |

The location was excellent. Nearly opposite the Waverley Street station exit "Market Street". In ten minutes walking distance of Princes Street, Royal Mile and Castle. |

There are family rooms there. Staff are friendly. The location is perfect, just opposite one of the wavely station exit. Easy to train station and royal mile. The facilities in bath room are poor. |

Great location very central easy to access the train station. Rate was competitive and the room was compact but had eveything needed for a short stay. Would prefer a full size bath to the over-sized shower tray. |

This hotel is located in the center and is close to all attractions. Not all staff are trained to the high level that you expect when visiting such a touristic city, however the majority of staff very very nice and helpful. If you have walking difficulties then this hotel is not suitable for you. |

The location was excellent as the hotel was close to the train station and to all areas of the city. The rooms were modern and spotlessly clean and the towels were changed each day and beds straightened. Staff were all very friendly and helpful during our whole stay. |

It is near the train station and conveniently located to access the High Street. The TV in the room did not work very well. The room was hot and quite noisy as it overlooked large fans outside, but for £50 a night - I can't really complain! |

the location, the comfort of the hotel. We booked an alarm call for 5:15am as the television in the room did not have an alarm facility. The wake up call did not happen and as a result we missed our flight. The booklet in the room contained instructions how to set the alarm on the tv set, however the remote was completely different and we could not find the alarm function. Had to change to a later flight at a cost of £40 as well as miss a day of work that was unplanned. Not happy at all about that. However - this was the only bad thing. |

Just few steps away from station. Though on a very quite street but stairs from back of hotel take straight to royal mile (one of the main tourist spot). Very conveniently located near castle and other attractions. Hotel staff was good and helpful. We had a good walk from hotel to castle and then to queen's palace and nearby hill top for a birdeye view of town and countryside. Our room was in front and had an excellent view of princes street and other attractions. It was a real memorable stay. We will love to be there again. Cannot find any. |

Easy walking distance from rail. Easy to identify from city Unfortunately we were in room 216 and the lift whirring kept me awake most of the night. I would recommend this hotel but suggest people ask to be situated away from the lift |
