Going home to my own shower
The location was good, as was the food in the evening.
My room service tray was still outside my room in the morning. Don't like that, could attract all sorts of nasties! Internet was very slow, unless you paid.
To me, I feel that Jurys Inn is perfect. It is located near the City Center. Moreover, meals by the chef are delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were in good condition.
Breakfast buffet can have different dishes every alternate days. As I stayed in the hotel for 8D7N, I got sick of having the same food every day.
Great location, comfortable bed
The key card didn't work well, sometimes we can't open the door.
The location for shopping and night life
Excellent location, handy for shops and also the Harbour/Barbican area. Spotlessly clean. We only stayed 1 night for a concert and can't comment on the food or the breakfast.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. We arrive by coach around 10pm after travelling from Heathrow, the hotel just a 2 minutes walk away from the station, and a comfort bed and hot bath is just what we need. In the morning we are pleasently surprised by the beautiful sea view from our window. Shops ,restaurant and barbican all within walking distance. Just perfect for travellers don't want to drive.
The car park is not free, won't be good if you have a car
staff room was clean bed was comfy
poor wi-fi shower not movable
Entrance looked lovely, friendly staff and nice bar
Room was shabby, bed was awfully uncomfortable, noisy throughout stay. Disappointed with the stay for the money paid
Hotel was in excellent location.Near to shops, restaurants and nightlife.Aquarium nearby too.
Initial welcome to hotel was not welcoming.Trainee was on desk. Two trained staff never gave eye contact or greeted us. Check in was slow but, trainee did best that she was able.Mattress was too hard. Breakfast was very good and helpful waiting staff.
Location oh yes location , to be fair the room was comfortable
The lady on reception , wiping her nose ever 2 minutes when checking also the signage all around the hotel very poor
Easy to find. within walking distance to bars and restraunts
noisey, looking into flats.
Quiet hotel near the marina, it's a nice walk to the aquarium, pubs and gin distillery. The hotel has great buffet breakfasts for £8 each. The staff were lovely. I was concerned about parking but the car park has a warden there all day and the car park is locked at night. It is very safe to leave your car there but it is £11 per 24 hrs so the £62 room soon became a lot more. Nice quiet stay will lovely views and really nice bed. Would stay again
Extra costs but breakfast is worth it, they had a lot available
The only set back was the availability of parking spaces and the timings. Can it be done electronically so it is available to customers on a 24 hrs.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere at bar made it a nice place to chill in evening. Staff were all very helpful. Room (standard twin) was well-equipped and very clean.
No parking at hotel. We parked for free in a side street, a 15 min walk away.
Hotel was very nice and as i am a fan of the barbican when staying in Plymouth, the location is brilliant!!
Only fault i have to give are the curtains in the bedroom, they let waaaaay to much light in. This is the reason for my poor sleep selection above.
Good for the attractions, very well situated.
Bar was still open when we arrived late.
Parking - closed at 11.00!!! Noisy - walls paper thin, external noise (traffic and clubbers) Room - boring!!
