Jurys Inn Swindon  

On a cold and wet night, the hotel was a haven from the weather. Located at the junction of several major roads provided easy access both in and out of town.

Really lovely staff, they couldn't do enough for us and treated us with such respect. Beautifully clean and nice room with good view over Swindon.

Late night snack of pizza was truly unpleasant. I think it was microwaved. We did not have breakfast as a result and went out instead.

Great receptionist and clean well presented rooms.

Comfortable bed, good tv facilities, spacious bathroom. The room and all facilities were immaculately clean.

There was air con in the room, which for some people is probably great, but I found the noise to be too much and disturbed my sleep. The window didn't open, they have them deliberately locked, so that if I turned the air con off the room felt very stuffy. No decaff tea options (or herbals) on offer. Despite me stating my check-out time would be between 11:30-12:00 (their official check-out limit is 12:00) I was hounded by housekeeping twice, even thought the Do Not Disturb sign was on my door. Breakfast a hap-hazzard affair, help yourself to cutlery, napkins etc, and no trays provided, thus meaning multiple trips in order to carry cup, teapot, plates etc. For that price I'd expect at least that the tables would be set, alas no. Not a very pleasant stay and I won't be repeating it.

Good hotel, close to the centre of Swindon. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were great especially the bar staff! We only ate from the bar menu once but food was good.

Wine by the bottle was expensive £24 being the cheapest. Also, obviously out of the hotel's control, the boiler broke down on the Friday night, so cold showers all round on Saturday morning. The staff were very apologetic and reduced our bill by means of compensation which was appreciated.

No hot water for at least 24hrs. No sign of being fixed. Staff said would email after stay discount etc.. Had no reply.

I like the staff, all my requirements were solved very quickly,very friendly nice atmosphere.

nothing was working in my room, no heating what worse, hot water wasnt working either bedding cover was dirty and tv wasnt working at all, i dont think i would come back to jurys inn ever again !

The check-in and out were very easy, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower was very simple to use. The food was very good.

The food was a little over-priced and there was a distinct lack of towels in the room.

This is an excellent clean and fresh-feeling hotel in the centre of Swindon. The rooms are well-appointed and not cramped. The staff are cheery and helpful. There is even free on-site parking - a definite plus in a city centre. Well done Jurys ....

WiFi is ridiculously expensive. The hotel has to have internet access for business use and it costs nothing extra to make it available to the guests ... Come on Jurys' - why spoil things by coming across as money-grabbing ?

The bed was a little hard also ordered room service , and the card machine didn't work and by the time we got to eat the food was cold

Staff were very efficient and friendly. All areas and rooms were very clean and welcoming. We didn't have any food so can't comment on that.

Strange that we had to pay to park in Jury's own car park but seeing as the nightly rate is very good value, it wouldn't be a reason for us to not return in future.

The room wasn't cleaned properly there was blood on the toilet seat !! I did mention it to reception but nothing was done about it

theres nothing more u guys could ever ask for, jurys inn exeter is superb not only for iys city centre location but also a top quality hospitality from staff. if you love being away from home but feels at home, then jurys inn is the best... no discrimination and costumers are always their priority, kudos to jurys inn your my second home!!!!!!!!!!!!! highly recommended best of the best lets all stick to the ones thst are tried and tested xxxxx paris

Nice clean hotel.

We were upgraded to a superior room as they hadn't received our booking and did this as way of an apology.Very comfortable and, as we were on the top floor, very quiet. Might have been a bit noisier on the lower floors as there were a lot of football supporters staying as the hotel is very near Swindown town football ground. Breakfast was excellent and served until 11am on the weekend so we could have a good lie in!

Value, we choose the smart option which was 30.00 cheaper if you didn't have breakfast.

Upon receiving our keys, we went to our room, opened the door and there was someone in the room (guest). Went to reception, they apologised and offered one free drink which I don't feel was enough considering what had happened. Also woke up the next day to a large insect bite on my shoulder.

There was no fridge in the room.
