The Weather!!

I liked the location and in the past enjoyed staying there

there seemed to be a shortage of staff and I had to queue for 20 minutes for check in. on another occasion I waited about 5 minutes before anyone came from the back office to the reception desk. room hadn't been serviced properly as there was no coffee or sugar. Also the hotel seemed full of hen nights and stag nights (I have stayed there a couple of years ago and it was more of a couples/family hotel). can I suggest that in future if you are having several hen parties stay they are all put on the same floor away from couples etc as we didn't get much sleep due to drunks in corridor and doors banging as the hens and stags returned at 3/4 in the morning and went in and out of each others rooms. then you could have noisy floors and quiet floors.I would have complained when I checked out but I didn't get the opportunity as I was just told to leave my key on reception and then ignored and wasn't asked anything about how my stay was etc

freindly staff, clean room,, quiet and good location

awkward to find it if you dont know the city, bar closed after midnight, unclear as to wifi access

Room was clean and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed. Nice view too. Breakfast very good for the money.

The lift I used when I checked in had litter in it, that was still there in the morning. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean.

Lack of sleep we was put next too a group of lads who kept us awake most of the night so we got about 2 hours sleep

Very dissapointed the shower hot water didnt work as had a 300 mile journey that morning and wanted to wake up properly. Reported to staff in the morning rather expecting a reduction in the price or voucher for another stay!

Location was great and nearby facilities this is what would make me come back. The reception area was very nice however the room was a little basic but met our needs. gym was great.

In our room the only thing that let it down was it looked a little tired. The carpet wasn't particularly clean there was a broken lampshade and there was mould in the grout around the shower area.

Breakfast a bit too expensive at £10. Room not very well lit, one of the lights were broken.

Price was a bit high Restaurant prices were high compared to surrounding restaurants. No toilet brush

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable for the one night. Hotel itself was in a good location modern and clean.

It was very noisy due to a nightclub being located next door to the hotel. The music was very loud and we could hear clubbers shouting and screaming until around 4am so we had a poor nights sleep.

Facilities at hotel were ok breakfast was good

Rooms looking tired for a hotel of this price/quality. Had to change rooms due to shower and heating failure

Wonderful position for City center - Value for money

My room was on 7th floor. The view from the window is excellent! You can see the Leeds wheel and cathedral. It is such a joy to be sitting in the room and enjoy the view.

The double bed is a bit small.

The bath plug didn't fit so the water just drained away, pretty useless really!

Location, close to city centre with local stores and restaurants on the doorstep Staff are always helpful and friendly Good Price Rooms are clean, modern and quiet Small but adequate Gym Easy to park nearby (£3.00 per day)

Bar area and bar meals could be improved.

The Jury inn was in a great location close walk to the shops bars and resturants. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely.

When we asked the staff about booking a taxi to take us to the train station they stated there was a free telephone to use for a local company Amber Taxi'S. I booked a taxi the evening before we were due to leave and then rang them the following morning to double check the taxi booking as requested due to bad weather. On both calls I spoke to a female who stated that my taxi was booked and would arrive at 11.40 to collect us. However the taxi did not arrive and when I rang the taxi firm back they stated they had no record of my booking. The staff at the Jury Inn were not helpful about this at all and stated that it was nothing to do with them even though they are promoting the taxi firm for their guests to use.Myself and my friends had to quickly walk to the train station to ensure we caught our train to get home.

A three star hotel which could well be four. Very helpful staff; especially Michael on reception. Nice large comfortable rooms with A/C.and flat screen TV. Unusual location, but a very easy walk to the centre of town.

Not the best cooked breakfast I've had; all a bit dry. Good choice of fruit though. Bar dreary and badly lit. Bath rather shallow. Still like the place though, and will gladly return!

Location, general presentation, room. On the face of it, good value. But avoid room 809!

Being put next to rooftop aircon plant having asked for, and been promised, a quiet room. Manager did not return my call to discuss this, having said he would.

Breakfast

Being woken several times during both nights by stag/hen groups sounding as though they were in hell rather than enjoying themselves. The Saturday night was utterly ruined. The same groups sat noisily swearing in the bar earlier, as they prepared their assault on the city.

Polite staff

The booking.com site claimed there were only triple rooms left. The room we got was a small double with a tiny, fold up bed crammed in. This did not seem to justify the extra expense of the triple room.We had to wait 30mins to check in at 6pm as the hotel was very busy. I felt like I had been ripped off.
